Married by Accident, Taming the Billionaire novel Chapter 316

Chapter 316 She Finally Unraveled the Conspiracy

Cecelia intended to interrogate Kara using the second conjecture of Remington.

Kara remained silent, and it was evident that she appeared slightly nervous. Cecelia stared at Kara intently, not letting any subtle expressions escape her notice.

"Do you have nothing to say? Did you think that by not speaking, I wouldn't find out?

"The master and senior brother are the ones behind all this, right? It's the plan of Dark Moon!"

"The goal is to obtain 'The Collection of Fragrant Clothes', am I right?"

Faced with Cecelia's accusations, Kara was visibly anxious. Since her sister had already revealed everything, how could she continue to conceal it?

"Kara, do you know how I feel right now? All along, I considered you and your sister as my saviors. I was grateful to you, treated you as my sisters, but now I feel like someone has stabbed me in the back. Like a knife plunged directly into my heart! Do you know how much pain I'm feeling?"

Cecelia's eyes turned red, and her gaze revealed a mix of complexity and heartfelt pain. The thing she had least wanted to believe had finally happened.

"Do you remember the days when you brought me to Dark Moon? I trained with you and learned many skills from you. We became close companions and family, and you provided me with warmth in my dark life when I needed it most."

"But now? You're telling me it was all fake! All just empty words! It was deliberate! It was deception! It was betrayal! It was a conspiracy! How do you think I feel?"

As she spoke with increasing indignation, Cecelia pointed to her own heart, her crimson eyes fixed on Kara.

Kara's tears welled up in response to her pain and regret, mirroring her sister. "I'm sorry, Cece..."

"Don't apologize to me anymore. I need to know who orchestrated this. Was it the master and senior brother conspiring, or what? If you don't tell me, I'll find a way to confirm it myself! I'll confront the master and senior brother personally!"

Cecelia's tone was resolute as she rose to leave, but Kara stopped her. "Cece, don't go to the young master. This has nothing to do with him. It's the Master's plan!"

As Cecelia turned back, her gaze turned icy and anger flickered in her eyes.

"I admit that five years ago when we saved you, it wasn't a coincidence; it was intentional. The Master wanted the 'The Collection of Fragrant Clothes', and when we discovered you were Cassie's descendant, we thought we could use you to find the secret manual."

"Maggie is indeed from Dark Moon, but she's a person carrying a death contract. Everything she did was just following orders from Dark Moon."

"Her task was to raise your daughter and use her to exchange for the secret manual. She was just a part of the plan."

After Kara voluntarily disclosed these facts, Cecelia felt as if her heart had been pierced by a million needles, causing intense pain.

When all the truths were revealed, the once-thought-of extended family suddenly crumbled.

The supposed strong support also collapsed!

Thinking of Tobiani's concern, Cecelia couldn't help but find it ironic.

It was all a conspiracy!

Seeing Cecelia immersed in agony, Kara felt an overwhelming sense of guilt. "Cece, we really didn't want to deceive you..."

"That's enough! The harm has already been done. No matter how many apologies you offer, it's useless! I just hate deception and betrayal the most! You should know the consequences of deceiving and betraying me!" Cecelia suppressed her grief and stared at Kara on the bed, feeling her heart freezingly cold.

Kara was well aware, but she too was caught in a web of circumstances.

"Alright, even if it's a conspiracy, let me ask you again: if killing Esmee was to help eliminate a potential threat, then why, after killing her, did you cut off one of her hands?"

When suddenly asked this question, Kara fell into silence.

"Where did you dispose of her hand? Tell me!"

Cecelia continued to press, but Kara insisted firmly, "We got rid of it."

"Got rid of it where?"

"Just tossed it somewhere. I can't remember now."
