Chapter 365 He Would Die Soon
"Let me check."
Mr. Boris helped them apply but found no records about her grandmother.
So, he apologetically said, "Ms. Linsey, our system has been updated once. We did not record the early cases. The files that have passed the retroactive period will not be kept. I am sorry I did not find any information about her case."
Cecelia understood it and said, "It doesn't matter. Mr. Boris, thanks for your help. I will leave my number to you. Please notify me if there is any relevant information in the future. Thank you."
"OK."
It was within her expectations. Even if there was information in the police system, those people must have erased it. It was hard to find information about a case several decades ago from the police.
After leaving the police station, Cecelia decided and said, "Let's go to the archives center of Porema."
"OK!"
Adam immediately drove to the archives center. On the way, Remington received a call from Winger.
After he hung up, Cecelia asked, "How is it? Did Black Hawk reveal anything?"
He replied, "No, he would rather die than confess."
The result was not surprising. She took a deep breath and said, "Black Hawk is paranoid, so he will not tell the truth. Let's send him back to bear responsibility for the crimes he committed! He will soon die!"
"I have asked them to send him back to the Cathail Republic and hand him over to Roger."
It was the best solution. The Cathail Republic police must arrest Black Hawk for the serial murder case to restore peace to society.
After they arrived at the Porema Archives Center, they met the administrator and asked to read the old newspapers decades ago.
The old administrator asked Cecelia who she was and what she wanted to check. After hearing her identity, he looked at her in surprise and asked, "Are you Cassie's granddaughter?"
"Yes, sir."
"I know your grandma!"
When he smiled, she found he had lost all his teeth. His dark bronze skin was wrinkled, and his hair was white. It was rare for her to meet a man who knew her grandmother. So, she said in surprise, "I didn't expect you to know her."
"It was a long time ago. When I met her, she was at your age. She was young and beautiful."
The administrator seemed fascinated when recalling the past. When he returned to his senses, he smiled, "Do you want to read the news about the Songo family sixty years ago?"
"Yes."
"You must act quickly. My superior asked me to immediately send all the old newspapers to the scrapyard. A forklift has come to move them. If you act slowly, you won't find them."
Cecelia was suspicious to hear this, wondering why they wanted to deal with the old newspapers right after she arrived in Porema. She did not know whether it was just a coincidence. They were still too late when she followed the senior administrator to the old warehouse.
The staff had packed all the old newspapers and squeezed them into blocks. Now, they were moving them onto the forklift.
Seeing this, Cecelia sighed, "It seems we are late!"
