Married by Accident, Taming the Billionaire novel Chapter 473

Chapter 473 The Suspect

"She is not an old woman! Her back looks young."

Cecelia discovered something wrong. She could infer a person's age from his body shape and gait.

The woman in the video had gray hair, but her gait showed she was in her prime.

Her back looked familiar. After a while, Cecelia finally thought of a person and said, "She is Heather! No wonder she looks so familiar!"

Snow asked, "Heather? The woman who knelt in the mall and begged you to let her son go?"

"Yes! It's her! She wants to threaten me with my daughter and force me to let her son go!"

The more Cecelia thought about it, the surer she became, thinking Heather had become reckless in desperation. She immediately called Remington and told him her guess.

Remington and his men were checking the vehicles that had passed the park entrance. After receiving her call, he immediately ordered his subordinates to investigate Heather and find out where she was.

After Jersey left the hospital, he wanted to rush to the park to help. Maggie drove her car over and asked him to get in. Jersey hesitated for two seconds, opened the car door, and entered. Then, she started the car and sent him to the park without saying anything.

They soon arrived and found Cecelia. Seeing Jersey running over in slippers and patient clothes, Cecelia asked in surprise, "Jersey, why are you here?"

He replied with an anxious look, "I feel worried after hearing something happened to the children! How are they now?"

Seeing his concern for the children, Cecelia truthfully said, "The boys are fine. But Doris is in trouble."

Hearing this, Maggie rushed over and worriedly asked, "Why is Doris in trouble? Cecelia, what happened to her?"

She had raised Doris, so she loved the kid very much. Hearing Doris was in trouble, she felt upset.

"She was abducted after the incident! We are trying our best to find her!"

When Cecelia showed them the video of Doris being abducted, Maggie immediately said in shock, "Isn't she Mrs. Thomas?"

Cecelia asked in surprise, "Mrs. Thomas? Do you know this woman?"

"She looks like Mrs. Thomas, the old nanny working in my manor. It should be her. Why did she take Doris away? I'll call her to ask about it!"

Maggie immediately made a call.

Cecelia looked at the older woman in the video again. Was her judgment wrong? Was the woman the old nanny instead of Heather?

However, the suspicion was soon overturned because Maggie's butler confirmed Mrs. Thomas had never left the manor today.

Maggie said in confusion, "She is not Mrs. Thomas! It is confirmed that Mrs. Thomas is at the manor and has never gone out today. If so, who is the woman in the video?"

Cecelia guessed, "Someone pretended to be Mrs. Thomas to deceive Doris! Otherwise, she wouldn't have left with a stranger!"

"What should we do now?"

Maggie was so anxious that she cried, while Jersey was also at a loss. He could only call her men and ask them to look for Doris.

About ten minutes later, they got a new clue. A passerby provided helpful information. He said he had seen an older man and a lovely girl walk out of the park after the accident. They had gotten in a black minivan whose license plate number ended with 7. After watching the video, the witnesses confirmed the child was Doris.

This information was valuable. After Remington sent it to the police, they began to check all the black minivans whose license plate numbers ended with 7.

At the same time, Adam tracked Heather's phone's GPS and confirmed she had been to the park. She had come before the accident and left when everyone had been busy rescuing children.

The timelines overlapped. So, the woman who had taken Doris away was most likely Heather in disguise!
