Chapter 485 The Arrow Must Be Released
Dayana was itching for an argument, but Petunia yanked her back. Petunia raised an eyebrow and asked, "Did we step on your toes? What shady stuff have you been up to that's got you all defensive?"
According to Petunia, Cecelia was a sketchy lady, and most of the guys around her were probably romantically entangled with her.
Jimmy was one of her bootlickers!
"I've always been upfront about my actions. No need for your special reminders!" Cecelia shot back with a smirk.
"And speaking of reminders," she added, "spreading baseless rumors and false accusations is against the law! In extreme cases, you might find yourselves behind bars!"
Cecelia then strolled away, but before leaving, she turned around and dropped a bomb, "Oh, by the way, if y'all can't resist gossiping, why not form a squad and make your debut together? Start a band named 'FireCheap F4'-how 'bout that?"
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"'Cause all your tricks are cheap," Cecelia concluded.
"What's with the 'cheap' next to the 'fire'? Is she dissing someone?"
"Geez, did she just say that?"
These women were fuming, faces redder than a tomato.
Petunia wanted to fire back, but Cecelia had already sauntered off, hands in pockets, heading to the other side of the stands, searching for the perfect spot to chill.
She strategically left an aisle between them. If they had anything else to say, Cecelia would catch it.
Cecelia did this on purpose!
Sit next to you and watch if you've got the guts to speak up!
This move shut the women up real quick. They didn't dare to say a peep, all seething with anger but afraid to confront Cecelia head-on.
Meanwhile, on the racetrack, Remington spotted Cecelia, gave her a wave, and she casually waved back.
The pre-race warm-up was underway. Jimmy and Stanley were gearing up to hop into their respective cars when Remington threw a curveball.
"Hey, Jimmy, since you and Stanley are like peas in a pod, why not switch cars? Let your buddy experience the top-notch setup of your ride!"
"Sure thing!"
Jimmy's car wasn't an everyday vehicle, but for Stanley, he was more than willing to share the wealth.
"Stanley, Remi's idea is solid. Come take a spin in my car!"
Feeling his head throbbing upon hearing this, Stanley hesitated, "Jimmy, no need, I'll stick with this one..."
Jimmy, thinking Stanley was just being polite, personally grabbed him, "No problem! You've gotta try my car. I've dumped millions into mods-top-notch all the way. Regular cars can't even compare. Hurry up and give it a shot!"
He nudged Stanley into his car, shut the door, and hopped onto Stanley's ride.
Remington kept his cool, addressing the group, "Alright, let's warm up with a lap and then get this race started!"
"Got it!"
Gavin was pumped, "Mr. Nelson, maybe this time I can outspeed you!"
"It all comes down to your skills!"
Remington slapped on his helmet, settled into the driver's seat, and revved the engine.
At the starting line, four cars lined up side by side. The other three were ready to roll, but Stanley, now in Jimmy's car, seemed a bit jittery.
Jimmy noticed Stanley hadn't kicked off yet, assuming he was hesitating to handle his high-end luxury car. He yelled through the window, "Stanley, don't overthink it, just drive my car! Let's kick this off! I'll lead the way!"
Jimmy raced ahead, followed by Gavin.
