Chapter 49 You're in No Place to Judge Me!

After taking Maximus to change his clothes, Cecelia left the Aroma Villa with him.

Only after walking to a quiet place did Maximus say, "Cecelita, don't be angry. My father is so terrible. I think Uncle Jersey is just fine! How about letting him be my and my brothers' stepfather?"

An exquisitely handsome face flashed through Cecelia's mind, then she shook her head, "Don't worry about me. I am good enough with you and your brothers. I don't need a man!"

Love was superfluous to Cecelia.

She had long since stopped believing in love, let alone in men.

When Cecelia arrived at the main hall of the Nelson Mansion with Maximus, who was pretending to be Andres, Cynthia happened to be back. The trunk of her car was packed with a number of gifts she had carefully selected.

"The gifts are ready. Everyone, get ready to go!" Cynthia yelled.

Renee walked out with Gabriella. Maria and Lydia showed up, and it looked like they were almost healed from the injuries they had gotten from the whipping punishment.

Now that they see Cecelia, they both feel resentful, but they dare not speak out.

Anyway, they would not forget the punishment they had received because of her. They could take their time with her later!

The Nelsons got into several cars. Cecelia took Maximus to Cynthia's car. On the way, Cynthia chattered, and they didn't feel bored.

The Nelson family's fleet soon arrived at Shawn's villa. The Shawn family was a long-established and knowledgeable family. As soon as the group got out of the car, they could see that Shawn's villa had been decorated in glitter tonight.

Cecelia took Maximus and followed Gabriella into Shawn's villa.

There were already many guests arriving at the villa, and the Shawn family's current leader, Moore Shawn, and his wife, Ivone Janet, were at the door to greet them. Seeing Grandma Gabriella personally lead the Nelsons to the birthday party, Moore said, "Madam Nelson, we are so honored to have you here!"

A group of Nelsons, including adults and children, attracted a lot of attention and made other guests turn their heads to look at them.

Gabriella walked in front of her three great-grandchildren to greet Robert and Madeline, Moore's parents, first.

"I came for the birthday party." Cecelia said.

"You are not welcome here! Please get out!"

Camelia's voice was not loud, and the others around wouldn't hear them.

"I don't need you to welcome me. I followed Grandma Gabriella here."

Cecelia tried to walk past Camelia, but Camelia grabbed her hand and dragged her outside.

After shaking Cecelia off, Camelia crossed her arms and said, "I've never seen a woman so brazen as you! Why don't you leave even after you've been thrown out? Aren't you ashamed of yourself?"

"Why would I? You're the one who's distorting the truth and making slanderous accusations against me behind my back. Aren't you ashamed of yourself?"

Camelia went to Remington and deliberately smeared her... Cecelia hadn't had a chance to settle the score with her yet, and now this woman was coming to her again?

'If you really piss me off, don't blame me for teaching you a lesson.' Cecelia thought to herself.

Camelia knew what Cecelia was talking about, but she defiantly said, "Am I wrong? Will your deeds outside be able to withstand exposure? How many men do you know? You married Remi for the title of Young Madam Nelson. But you are out there hooking up with other men behind Remi's back. Do you think you are a disgusting woman?"

"You are in no place to judge me! Are you trying to tell me what to do? Who do you think you are?"

Cecelia stared at her coldly, taking one step closer to her, and Camelia was forced backward by Cecelia's cold but powerful aura.

"You've seen how I taught Mrs. Quinsey a lesson. Do you want to give it a try? I'm sensing a great desire to hit something really hard."
