Chapter 56 A Little Lady-killer
Remington was speechless.
She would not help him up unless he begged her! Didn't she know she had married him to bring blessing to him?
He wished he could strangle her!
"Cecelia, you keep saying you will take care of me but are abusing me every day. Who sent you here? Do you want to kill me?"
Remington would rather die than surrender. Although his arm was bleeding, he didn't beg her for mercy.
"I didn't want to kill you before, but I do want to do so now."
Cecelia thought Remington had brought it on himself. If he had not always annoyed her, she would not have done such a thing.
After punishing him, she helped him up, washed his body, cleaned up the mess in the bathroom, and wheeled him out.
Then, she brought the medicine kit over and treated the wound on his arm. The shards cut into the flesh, so she needed to use tweezers to remove them.
But she acted roughly as if scraping pigskin. It hurt so much that Remington turned pale and gasped in pain.
"Can't you do it lightly?"
Cecelia gave him a cold look without pausing her hands' movements and said, "Sorry, but I don't have a tender heart for men like you."
Remington was speechless, wondering what was wrong with her.
Cecelia was still angry with him, so she had intentionally put forth more strength to punish him.
After tweezering out the glass shards, she directly poured alcohol on the wound for disinfection.
"Ah!"
When the alcohol touched the wound, Remington screamed in pain. He thought she would torment him to death if things continued like this.
"Stop screaming! You sound worse than a dying pig."
Remington felt both painful and angry, so he said, "You're abusing me!"
"You finally see it! Don't you like being abused by me?" Cecelia sneered.
After sterilizing the wound, she wrapped it with gauze and patted it, saying, "It will be fine! You won't die!"
"Ouch!"
He knew he would not die. But after her torture, his face was as pale as ashes. He suspected she used to be his nemesis in his previous life and had come to collect debts in this life. She wanted to kill him!
He thought he must stay away from her for his safety. He swore he would divorce her as soon as he recovered. He would not wait for one more second then!

They had not spoken all night.
Cecelia got up early the next morning and cooked breakfast. After Remington woke up, she helped him wash up and took him downstairs for breakfast.
After the meal, she picked up her bag, intending to go out.
Hearing her high heels hitting the floor, Remington asked, "Cecelia, where are you going?"
"I'm going out. Summon Florence or Fredric if you need anything."
After finishing speaking, Cecelia walked out without hesitation.
"Come back!"
Remington thought she was going out to date the young man again and felt extremely depressed. He seemed unable to turn a blind eye to such things.
But Cecelia still left despite his shouts. So, he pressed the button to summon Fredric.
"Fredric, hurry up to follow Cecelia! Take photos of whoever she's going to meet!" Remington said before letting out a sigh of relief.
