Chapter 62 It has an Indescribable Power that Attracted Him.
"That's right, it was two hours ago a colleague found him dead. Now his body has been placed in the mortuary, and the forensic doctor has already started the autopsy. Come with me!"
After said so, Roger Shawn led them to the mortuary, Cecelia pushed Remington's wheelchair, and Fredric came with them together.
In the mortuary, Peter Sheldon's body was lying on the examination bed covered with a white sheet.
After they entered the room, Roger lifted the bed sheet to show them. Cecelia glanced at the corpse and asked, "How did he die?"
"He was been poisoned."
Roger handed the autopsy report to her and said, "A neurotoxin called Tabun was detected in his body."
Cecelia read the explanation of the report, it said that the chemical name of Tabun was dimethylaminocyanidonate, which was a very strong toxic substance.
It could not be seen and was colorless, with a slight taste of bitter almonds.
This toxin was easily soluble in water. During the war, it was used as a chemical weapon and often used to pollute water sources.
"So Peter Sheldon died because of drinking water containing Tabun?" Cecelia asked.
Roger nodded, "Yes, it may indeed be caused by drinking water."
Remington couldn't see anything, but he heard them talking, so he spoke at this time.
"He died in the detention center, then who can mostly poison him? Was he the only one who died? Has anyone else been poisoned?"
"We are still investigating what you asked. Only Peter Sheldon was poisoned."
After the incident, Roger Shawn and the others only contacted the Nelson family to deal with the case.
Peter Sheldon was poisoned and assassinated in the detention center. If they could not find out the truth of the matter, the police station would definitely be held accountable.
"Did Peter Sheldon confess anything during the few days in the detention center?" Remington asked.
"No, he won't say anything. Every time he was interrogated, he did not say anything else but admit that he did it all."
Remington didn't ask any more questions, but Cecelia said, "Captain Shawn, please make sure to find out who did this."
"Of course, we will keep investigating it."
Having said everything, and understanding the situation, Cecelia, Remington, and the others returned to the Nelson family.
On the way back, Cecelia sat on the sofa of the RV and chatted with Remington about the case, "It seems that the reason why the killer wants to kill him is for fear that Peter Sheldon would reveal the secret."
"That makes sense, and that person can kill him successfully, he must have a power."
Remington Nelson has already informed another of his subordinates to investigate the entire case secretly, and he believed there would be results in a short time.
"Is it possible that it is your opponent? Or have you offended anyone?" Cecelia asked.
"There are too many people who want to kill me."
Remington felt that the mastermind behind the scenes would definitely find another chance to attack him again. That meant that he would definitely have the chance to find the clues.
"Captin Shawn is already busy enough. Now there is another case that happened, not knowing when the truth will be found." Cecelia worried about the case so much.
But it was another meaning to Remington when he heard what she said.
"That's his job, you don't need to worry about him. And he is married and also has children. Don't hook up with him and destroy his family relationship!"
"What! So you think I am that kind of woman?"Cecelia asked.
"Did I say anything wrong? Just see how many men you meet every day."
His words were malicious to Cecelia.
Cecelia took a deep breath, and said viciously, "That's why you are blind and have the illness, you are so vicious, it's better for you to live alone forever!"
"Hey, how dare you say that?"
He just told her out of kindness, how could she say these words so viciously?
