Chapter 66 How Could She Called him In This Way
Ophelia Linsey was very upset at being treated in this way, but she seemed to have discovered something serious.
She stretched out her hand and shook it in front of Remington's eyes, but found that he didn't have any reaction.
"Mr. Nelson, can't you see me?"
Ophelia Linsey had inquired about Remington's situation in private. It was said that it was true that he could not walk, and his eyes also could not see clearly.
And now she saw his reaction, he must be blind.
Then she didn't have to be with a guy blind and lame.
Such a man should be left to Cecelia.
Thinking of this, Ophelia was no longer jealous.
And then she said with a smile, "I thought Mr. Nelson is completely recovered. Just forget it, what I want to say is that the last time you went home, grandma was so mad about what you did and said, and she is now hospitalized. You should go and apologize to her now."
"Aren't you afraid she would piss off again when she sees me?"
After hearing her words, Ophelia could not refute them.
Cecelia was not going to talk with her, she pushed Remington away and deliberately rolled over her instep.
"Damn it, my feet... Cecelia! You rubbed my feet!"
"You deserve it!"
Cecelia said without looking back.
Looking at the woman's cold back, Ophelia Linsey was pissed off. She cursed her, "Damn it! It's not the time, we'll see!"
After they finished the physical examination and got the examination report, Cecelia led Remington to see the doctor.
"Which doctor do you want to take me to?" Remington asked.
"A famous general practitioner, he is my friend, and I asked him a favor to prescribe the medicine for you." Cecelia explained to him.
"Him?" Remington asked.
"Yes, 'him'." Cecelia said.
What Remington guessed right and he considered that the purpose for Cecelia taking him to have a check was for looking for men, he didn't believe that she would care about him.
Cecelia pushed Remington into the chief physician's office. Shepard Nuno had been waiting for them a long time. When he saw them coming, he stood up to greet them.
"Cecelia, here you are!"
Shepard was handsome and had a tall and straight figure, he was dressed in a white gown, wearing a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, and a stethoscope hanging around his neck, he smiled at them, charming and well-educated.
He was the most famous doctor of general medicine from the returnee school of the Hospital of the Center City. He was also the elder brother of Cecelia's good friend, Ariella Nuno, and he was also her senior in school.
"Shepard, how are you? I am sorry to bother you."
Cecelia greeted him after entering the room.
"I am great. Don't say that, you are Ariella's friend, it's fine."
Shepard Nuno was very happy to see Cecelia.
"How is Ariella? When will she come back?"
Only when Cecelia came back did she know that Ariella hadn't come back from abroad, and she missed her a lot.
"Oh, she will be back soon, she had booked the flight today. I'll pick her up after I get off work. Do you want to come together?"
"Great! I haven't seen her for several years!"
Shepard? Did she know him for a long time? How could she call him in such an intimate way?
Remington kept doubting. When he heard they had chatting happily above his head, he was ignored, and the feeling of being ignored made him very uncomfortable.
"Excuse me!"
He finally spoke, reminding them there was another person in the room.
Only then did Shepard look at Remington who was in the wheelchair. Shepard knew him, he said, "You must be Mr.Nelson, Sorry for letting you wait, sir."
After he said so, Shepard asked Cecelia again, "Did he finish all the inspections?"
