Mated to my nightmare novel Chapter 1

CHAPTER ONE.

The sun casts shades of oranges and pink over the sky giving it a whole new shade, the hue magnificent, I stayed up to the sky to see the setting sun, it was no longer it’s bright hot yellowish self, it was dim and orange, a beautiful hue that came with a calming wind, it was no longer high in the air but low, at the edge waiting for the perfect time to go down and let the moon take it’s shine.

I walked through the dark alley, my handbag hanging loosely on my shoulder. I was not bothered about the lonely dark alley, as I walked through here whenever I needed to get home early or get to school early and trouble had never visited me in this alley.

Or so I thought

Cold air whipped past me and played with my hair, causing a chill down my spine as I walked through the alley. I was beginning to feel anxious as I looked around the alley.

‘What was wrong with me?’

I was anxious for no reason as I walked through the lonely dark alley, clutching my hand bag tightly.

The eerie silence was cut through by a sharp deep voice.

“Hey bunny did you miss me” the deep voice cut through the silence like a knife.

I turned around to see a tall muscular figure hidden in the shadows, arms folded.

“Who are you?” I asked, taking three steps back, chills running down my spine, I shivered slightly at the chilling air, and the figure took two steps forward, the shadows hiding his face.

“Oh c’mon Angela don’t be scared” he taunted me, amusement clear in his voice.

“How do you know my name?” I asked, squinting my eyes trying to get a glimpse of the stranger.

“Oh please I know more than your name bunny, I know everything about you” he said taking two more steps.

“So you are a stalker then, how long have you been stalking me?” I panicked as I took more steps back.

“I’m not a stalker bunny, I’m your nightmare” the voice said and just like the wind he disappeared into the shadows like he was never there, my heart sank into my stomach as his last words echoed in my head.

I’m your nightmare.

I quickly turned around ready to leave this alley when I bumped into a hard toned chest. Looking up I felt my heart sink deeper into my stomach as I felt color drain from my face. I paled as I felt a strong fatigue coming.

“Did you miss me bunny” the same voice that was behind the shadows said but this time I could see his full face and the sight of him made me nauseous, my dread, what I had always feared had returned.
