Mated to my nightmare novel Chapter 3

CHAPTER THREE.

The whole hallway went quite the moment the slap echoed through the hall, their heads turning towards us, eyes wide in surprise, at first I was glad I finally put him in his place, but the moment I gained attention from the passing students, I regretted it instantly, it was all his fault, and I know he didn’t expect me to challenge him, as shock was written all over his faced which he quickly masked with hatred and anger, I retracted my had folding it in shock, panicking slightly his eyes held promises of what he had installed for me as he stared at me deeply, I quickly averted my gaze staring at anywhere but him, my lips quivering as I fidgeted with my hands.-

He stepped closer to me and I immediately took a step back which he stopped by holding my hand, bending down to my ear he whispered four words that sent my body into lock mode.

“This is not over”

I trailed down the hallway my eyes searching for a possible threat that might come my way, throughout my first periods of the day I haven’t seen or bump into Leo which I was glad about, I wasn’t ready for him and his taunting ways, it was now lunch time and luckily for me I still haven’t seen him.

I walked back to my locker to drop my books to see Debbie, Gene and Claire waiting for me.

“There she is what took you so long again” Debbie said hugging me as well as Gene and Claire, they were my only friends and we were happy with it, we didn’t want large company so we kept ourselves small though they probably had other friends.

We all walked to the cafeteria and took our lunch to get a table. We sat down and they started talking about their weekends. I zoned out of most of their conversations only picking up bits of it.

“So Debbie tell us how was your weekend?” Claire asked, catching my attention; Debbie always had a very adventurous weekend with the boys.

“Well I went to a party downtown” she said giggling.

“As always Debbie” I said, rolling my eyes.

“Shut up Angela” she grumbled glaring at me playfully.

“Okay ma’am continue”

“Well so as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted” she said glaring at me, I raised my hands up in mock surrender, laughing softly.

“I met this guy in the club, he was sitting all alone actually with a glass of vodka, he had this dark aura around him that gave that bad boy vibe and you know I love bad boys” she said wiggling her eyebrows.

We all yelled out ‘Ewww’ scrunching your nose in disgust.

“Oh please don’t be a child, bad boys are the best” she said chuckling.

“So well I walked up to him and sat beside him, I gave him my best flirtatious smile, which could make a guy jerk in his pants' ' she said laughing.

“Well sadly that didn’t work on me as he looked at me with disgust, he fucking left me. The rejection hurts” she said, her smile dropping as it was replaced with a frown. We all burst out laughing at the outcome of her story. None of us saw that coming. The dude must have had some guts to reject Debbie as she had it all, the curves, she was perfect.

I laughed heartily; Debbie could be crazy at times. “What about you Gene, how was your weekend?” Debbie asked.

“Well my cousin sister visited and we had some girls time, she gifted me on how caring and loving her mate was”
