I have never eaten such a delicious dessert in my life. I just want to eat and eat. I don't want to stop.

Suddenly, my eyes stopped at something.

But her back was facing me. I think I met her before I knew her.

I put my plate aside while making my way nearer to her to see who she was.

Slowly, I went towards them to see that woman.

I gasped a little. She was the same woman who saved me from falling back there in the hotel.

She was wearing a beautiful stunning prom gown from the upcoming Chanel collection with diamond earrings. She was wearing very little makeup but only a beautiful red shade of lipstick.

"Oh, hey, we meet again," I smiled.

"Yes, it's so unexpected," she said while tickling a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"You here?" she asked.

"I am here with my husband," I said.

"Oh," she said.

"Hi, I am Meghan Candsdale, wife of Gered Candale,"

Oh, so she is the wife of Mr. Gered Candsale.

I introduced myself in a cheerful voice. "I am Emberly Campbell."

Her eyebrows furrowed a little as she tilted her head like she was trying to remember.

"Mr. Adrian Campbell's wife," I finally told her.

She snapped her head at me. "Adrian," she yelled.

I stiffened looking at her. "Do you know him personally?" I asked her.

"Yeah, we know each other," she smiled lightly at me as she licked her lips absently.

"Excuse me," she said sluggishly, moving quickly away from my path.

I remained looking at her back, wondering whathad suddenly just happened to her, why she started behaving differently with the name of Adrian.

I shrugged and went towards another section of desserts, but my leg struck something and my upper lip curled back as I was ready to fall on the harsh floor, but nothing happened as I felt something holding me from my waist up.

I looked and found a very handsome man, but not more than Adrian holding me by my waist.

"Thank you," I said while setting up invisible non-existing creases on my dress, even though I was wearing minimal makeup.

"My pleasure, to help a beautiful woman," he said, smiling at me.

I looked around, unable to think of what to say or do to him. I don't even know him.

"Oh, I didn't even introduce myself. I am Geread Cansdale,"

Oh, so he is Mr. Cansdale, who is the host of this banquet party.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Cansdale," I said while shaking my hand with him.

"I am Emberly Campbell." I smiled.

"Oh, so you are the infamous mystery girl who Adrain married," he said while pausing and looking at my eyes suddenly. We heard the sound of a clearing throat.
