My Darling, My Dearest novel Chapter 483

Since Andrew was Jonathan and Tracy's first grandson, they wouldn't just want a simple family dinner to celebrate his first birthday. As a matter of fact, they had already planned a few months ago to hold a big party. They wanted to introduce Andrew to the whole Ninwell City.

This evening, Rachel went to the yard after dinner. There, she saw Tracy and Jonathan sitting on a stone bench. They were chatting while Tracy was carrying Andrew in her arms.

Rachel walked up to them and crouched in front of Tracy. She gently poked Andrew's cheek and asked, "Andy, what are you laughing? Why are you so happy?"

Andy was Andrew's nickname. Jack gave it to him on the second day after he was born.

At that time, Jonathan and Tracy insisted on giving him a nickname, but the names they had thought didn't sound good to Jack.

Tracy even suggested calling him "Baby" as his nickname. Jack refused at once.

To stop his parents from thinking of funny nicknames, Jack immediately thought of a nickname for his baby. And from the name Andrew, he came up with "Andy." Fortunately, everyone was satisfied with it.

Tracy handed Rachel a piece of paper. It was the guest list she made for Andy's first birthday. "Check this out. Do you have any other friends to invite?"

Rachel looked through the long list of names. She actually felt a little dizzy, but she still looked at them carefully. Seeing that Lea and Celia were already listed, she shook her head and said, "Mom, I don't have any other friends to invite. You've already listed Lea and Celia here."

"Okay. I'll ask the staff to make invitation cards according to this list then." Tracy handed the list to the staff who was already standing behind her. But when the staff was about to leave, she suddenly stopped him.

She then turned to Rachel and asked, "How about your colleagues? Don't you think of inviting them? You know, the more guests, the more fun.

"Thanks, but there's no need, Mom," Rachel refused.

As much as possible, she wanted to keep a low profile.

"Okay." She breathed a sigh of relief when Tracy didn't insist. After telling the staff to leave, Tracy chatted with Jonathan again, and they continued to talk about their plans for Andy's birthday party. With a faint smile, Rachel took Andy from Tracy and went to the living room. There, she saw Jack fiddling with a remote-controlled toy car. As soon as he saw them coming in, he pressed the remote, and the car moved towards the mother and son. He then said, "Andy, look. Dad bought you a very nice toy car."

"Is that for Andy or for you?" Rachel asked with a smile. Since Andy was born, she felt like Jack had gone back to his childhood. Every day after work, he played with different kinds of toys. He said that he needed to master them so he could teach Andy how to play with them when the child grew up.

With that reason of his, she couldn't refute.

Jack just smiled at Rachel's question. He was already used to it. "Honey, did Mom talk to you about Andy's birthday again?"

Rachel glanced at him and said, "Yes. How did you know?"

Jack picked up a toy from the sofa and handed it to Andy. He then looked at Rachel's eyes and said, "Your eyes can't hide anything from your husband. After all, she also asked me earlier if I want to invite my employees."

"What did you say to her?"

Tracy must be crazy. MK Group had hundreds of employees. If they all came, they might not be able to find such a big banquet hall to accommodate them. Jack patted her on the shoulder and smiled. "Don't worry. I know what you think about it. Am I the kind of husband who will go against his wife's will?"

Rachel was amused by his words. But she leered at him and said, "You are too loquacious."

"Of course." Jack winked at her and motioned her to sit down on the sofa. He then sat beside her, put his arm around her waist, and rested his chin on her shoulder.

With an ambiguous look on his face, he slightly blew on her neck and said, "Honey, you know what? I'm not only good at talking. I'm also good at something else."

"What is it?" Rachel felt so ticklish that she wanted to move away from Jack. However, he held her waist more tightly.

Jack deliberately pouted. "Stop playing dumb, honey. You haven't made love with me for quite a while now. Will you consider it tonight? I've been living like a monk for a long time."

Rachel's face flushed in an instant. Since Andy was born, he had been sleeping with them, so they couldn't have private time together at night. As a man, Jack would naturally have his sexual desire.

But she didn't feel comfortable talking about it in the living room, so she gently pushed him and said, "Stop it. Dad and Mom might hear you." As soon as she finished speaking, Jonathan and Tracy came in together.

Obviously, they overheard Jack and Rachel's conversation because Tracy deliberately covered her eyes with her hands and turned her back. "Don't worry. Just pretend that we are not here. Go on with your moment."
