Chapter 276 His Shrewdness

Seeing Colin's message, Faye hesitated for a moment before she looked up at Galen and said, "I am not available this noon. Let's have lunch together next time."

Galen knowingly smiled, "Ms. Nash, you're going to have lunch with Mr. Farrell, right?"

Faye tapped her slender fingers on the black phone screen without denying it and said, "Yeah."

Galen pursed her lips and smiled with an envious expression, "OK. If so, I won't disturb you."

After Galen left with a smile, Faye didn't go to Colin's office right away because it was the peak time for lunch now. Although everyone knew about their relationship, she still wanted to avoid too much attention to her private life.

After more than ten minutes, she sent a message back to Colin and said, "OK."

When she arrived at his office, his secretary's and assistant's offices were both empty.

Faye knocked on the door lightly, but there was no response, so she turned the doorknob and pushed the door open.

No one was inside, and there were a few dishes on the coffee table.

Faye entered the door and said softly, "Colin?"

But no one responded, so she frowned slightly. When she was about to walk into Colin's lounge, she heard people walking over outside. The footsteps sounded a little chaotic, so she guessed Colin was not alone.

"Mr. Farrell, thank you in advance for taking care of the twenty of us in the future."

"You're welcome."

"Mr. Farrell, you have to pay close attention to the headquarters. Although Hank cannot threaten you, Blaine is a problem."

"I know."

As the footsteps got closer, Faye pursed her lips and hid in the lounge.

As soon as the door of the lounge was closed, the office door was pushed open from the outside.

Then, Colin said in a deep voice, "Thank you for your help yesterday. Don't worry, I will keep your kindness in mind and repay you in the future."

Hearing this, those people began to compliment Colin.

"Mr. Farrell, it was our pleasure to help you. Old Mr. Farrell is old and has gone gaga, but we are not confused. We can see that if you take over the company, it will develop better."

"Yes! Blaine is not cut out to be a businessman at all. As for Hank, he is better than Blaine but is no match for you."

Once a man fell, all would tread on him. And it was normal in every social class.

Yesterday, quite a few of them had been standing on Blaine and Hank's side.

But today, they spoke ill of Blaine and Hank even more severely than the others because they believed only in this way could they make a clean break with them.

Colin was not like the common rich second generation who had grown up in greenhouses, so these compliments did not work on him at all, and he knew how hypocritical people could be.
