Chapter 277 My Baby Faye
Hearing Colin's words, Faye narrowed her eyes to look at him and said, "I heard your words. What's the matter?"
Colin reached out to pick up the shards of the broken vase with a gloomy expression and said, "Are you... disgusted?"
Faye asked, "What do you think I am disgusted with?"
Colin tightened his grip on the shards and said, "I remember you said that you like elegant and clean people."
When Faye lowered her eyes, she found blood ooze out of the wound on Colin's palm, so she said with a frown, "Colin, let go."
Colin didn't move as if he didn't feel any pain.
Watching him clench his hands hard, Faye said, "I've always known what kind of person you are."
The cigarette in Colin's mouth had almost burnt to the end, and the burning sensation of the flames rose from the butt.
It didn't hurt, but he still felt uncomfortable.
Colin kept his head down, and even his breathing became extremely cautious.
Looking at his profile for a few seconds, Faye sighed lightly, put her hands on his, and said, "Let go."
Colin's eyelids trembled before he looked at her.
When their eyes met, Faye looked up at him and said, "Since you took over Farrell Media, I have seen your way of doing things. What's more, you have been famous over the years, so it is hard for me to ignore the rumors about you."
Colin fell silent.
Faye laughed, "Do you think I'm a fool?"
Colin said with a gloomy look in his eyes, "Listening to rumors and hearing my evil words with your ears are two different things."
He had always been high-spirited in business but was so cautious in front of her. Seeing this, Faye felt both pity and a trace of joy in her heart.
Everyone liked to be cared for and loved, and she was no exception.
Faye was not good at showing a soothing smile, so she could only try to turn the corners of her lips upward and said, "Colin, I don't care about the things you are worried about."
Colin's thin lips twitched before he said, "Really?"
Faye noticed his grip on the vase fragments loosening a little, so she poked her fingers in, took the fragments out of his palm, and answered firmly, "Really."
Then, she stood up and threw the fragments into the trash can.
Seeing this, Colin took the short cigarette out of his mouth after realizing it was almost burned out, and then, he snubbed it out.
Faye turned her head to glance at Colin. She was afraid he would continue to think nonsense, so she changed the topic and asked, "Have you eaten lunch?"
Colin replied, "Not yet."
Faye pursed her lips, put one hand in front of him, and said, "Get up! Let's go to have lunch."
Colin raised his eyes, took Faye's hand, and got up with her help.
The moment he stood up, he pulled her hand hard, let her slam into his arms, bowed his head to kiss her hair, and said, "Honey."
Colin's voice was low, and there was grievance in his tone.
