Chapter 371 Born to Be Cruel
The usual means of Faye was to wait and see what happened first, then deal with it accordingly.
But this time was different. Human life was involved and it also touched her bottom line.
Faye asked Galen to contact legal services, in the meantime she made a phone call to Rex.
The call was answered, and Rex spoke through the phone, "Ms. Nash."
Faye said, "Ask Fanny to call the police, saying that Natalia Walker is spreading slanders. If they file a case, let the police solve it. Otherwise ask for a return receipt."
What Faye said muddled Rex. After a long time, Rex replied, "OK, I'll get Fanny to do so right now."
Hanging up the phone to Rex, Faye leaned into the seat with her face looked terrible.
Who said that "it's not the voice that counts"?
Facts proved that in the current era, low voice was useless.
Especially in the matter of slander, the louder one spoke, the better the effect was.
Faye pinched her eyebrows, waiting for the feedback of legal department and Rex's calling the police.
In an hour or so, both sides made progress.
The legal department sent a lawyer's letter to Natalia and meanwhile, litigated and accused her of disinformation and slander.
As to the matter of Rex, the result was almost the same as Faye predicted. It was difficult to file a case for public opinion warfare between stars, so he just got the return receipt.
Rex asked, "Ms. Nash, what should we do next?"
Faye replied, "Don't let Fanny get contact with outside, the company will solve the problem."
Rex said, "Ms. Nash, thank you."
Faye took a deep breath, "Take good care of Fanny."
Faye rang off the phone to Rex, feeling unspeakably depressed.
It was getting around noon, Galen knocked the door and invited Faye to have lunch.
"Ms. Nash, will you have lunch with me?"
"I'm not hungry, you'd better go yourself."
Galen gripped the office door, nodding. "Ms. Nash, have a rest. You haven't slept all night."
Faye smiled, "Well."
Galen left Faye's office, and closed the door.
Faye got up and poured a glass of water, had a drink and stepped into the lounge.
She didn't have enough rest in recent two days indeed. The day before yesterday the medical treatment made her sick. Yesterday the matter of Fanny also bothered her for a whole day.
Faye lay on the pillow, almost fell asleep immediately.
Many hours passed. Faye heard the phone bell rang while she was sleeping in a daze.
She opened her eyes, reached for the mobile phone and pressed to answer, "Hello."
"Ms. Nash."
Faye felt her heart pounded when heard the voice. "Fanny?"
Fanny sounded hoarse. It seemed that she was driving a car, for the wind howled on the other side of the phone.
Faye's words finished, and Fanny asked tentatively, "Ms. Nash, may I chat with you?"
Faye frowned, feeling there was something wrong with Fanny."Yes."
Fanny, "Ms. Nash, I wish to make friends with you."
Faye got out of bed, "Where are you now?"
Fanny didn't answer her question, she spoke by herself. "When I saw you on television variety show for the first time, I liked you very much. Maybe you don't know, you are the first person show me kindness in the biz."
Fanny said and paused, then again she said, "You praised me, saying that I performed well, I was calm and steady. I remember all these. "
Faye, "I wasn't praise you, I just told the truth."
What Faye said made Fanny burst of laughter at the other end of the line. Her laughter was true. "That's really good. There's someone appreciate me in this world."
A moment ago Faye only suspected Fanny was abnormal. Now she knew that what she had suspected was true.
