Since Maxwell had left the hospital before his legs were healed, he must be premeditating something evil.

After listening to Abbot's voice message, Colin and Faye exchanged glances.

Colin said solemnly, "Tell Abbot that I got it."

Faye nodded, "OK."

After she replied to Abbot, she looked up at Colin and said, "Do you think Maxwell went to Bomsville?"

He thought for a while and answered, "Call Lance to ask about the situation in Bomsville."

She nodded and called Lance.

Picking up the phone, Lance asked in a good mood, "Why are you calling me right after you left?"

Faye said, "Maxwell was discharged from the hospital, and I suspect he went to Bomsville."

Lance paused for a second and laughed, "Yeah, probably."

Faye said suspiciously, "You know it?"

Lance smiled, "Andy's friend came and said they called the police and reported Maxwell's Heaven of Bomsville."

Faye was speechless.

He added, "The police asked us for a statement just now and said they would nominate us as Top 10 Best Citizens."

Hearing this, she didn't know whether to feel relieved or worried, so she said, "Stay safe."

Lance chuckled, "Don't worry, Andy's friend has assigned dozens of people here to protect us. When the nurse came to change the fresh dressing for them today, she was shocked and suspected that the three of us are some big shots."

Faye thought the scene must be quite embarrassing.

Hanging up the call, she reported to Colin what Lance had said.

Colin smiled, "I didn't expect Hunter to be so reliable."

Faye frowned, "Hunter?"

He said, "Ethan gave names to his subordinates. And the leader of those people who went to save us yesterday is named Hunter."

She grinned, "It's a good name."

Colin drove very slowly because he was worried Faye would feel pain if the car jolted too hard. So, when they got back to Cocanel, it was already dark.

When they arrived at Fennth Community, Colin stopped the car and turned to look at Faye who was sleeping soundly after putting the seat back down.

After staring at her with a smile for a while, he opened the door, got out of the car, and moved his stiff waist. And then, he walked to the passenger seat and leaned over to carry her out. She hadn't slept well since Emmett's accident.

As soon as he picked her up, Faye opened her eyes sleepily and asked, "Have we arrived?"

Colin lowered his head to kiss her on the forehead and said in a deep voice, "Yes."

Faye said, "I can go back by myself."
