Chapter 472 Different Thoughts
Rebecca's life maxim: A common man with greed and lust.
Looking at the message sent by Rebecca, Faye could feel her excitement through the screen.
Faye paused for a few seconds and subconsciously raised her eyelids to look at Abbot sitting across from him.
Abbot was still bickering with Ethan, the more frustrated he was, the braver he was.
He didn't feel the sense of crisis from "love" at all.
Faye was looking at Abbot in a trance. Colin adjusted his sitting posture and leaned over to touch Faye's arm.
Faye came back to her sense, turned her head around and looked at Colin.
Colin teased, "Why are you looking at Abbot when you have such a handsome husband around?"
Faye smiled and handed Colin her phone.
Colin raised his eyebrows, "Hmm?"
Faye said, "Check the message."
Colin lowered his sight when he heard her words. After seeing the chat interface between Faye and Rebecca, he suddenly smiled, and said in a low voice, "Did Abbot die before the ship even sail?"
Faye said, "You were gone too far. You should apologize to Abbot later."
Colin gave Abbot a sympathetic look and made a "tut" noise.
They were brothers for many years, and they still had a tacit understanding.
Perceiving that Colin was looking at him, Abbot looked at Colin and sneered, "What? Did you just notice that I'm cute?"
Colin smiled gently, "Ms. Black is blind dating."
The smile on Abbot's face froze, "..."
Colin said, "I heard that her date is a young professor."
Abbot, "..."
Colin continued, "I heard that he is a handsome young professor."
Abbot completely put away his smile.
The atmosphere in the room solidified for about seven or eight seconds. Abbot suddenly smiled, "It's not a big deal, Ms. Black is just about the marriageable age. It's normal for her to date."
Colin raised his eyebrows slightly, pretending he couldn't see the displeasure in Abbot's eyes, and jokingly answered, "Indeed."
The rest of the night Abbot no longer said a word, and he didn't say any more jokes.
During the meal, Ethan deliberately picked on him.
Abbot just glanced at him askance, he was like a wilted eggplant and silent.
Ethan looked up at Colin.
Colin smiled and said, "Abbot?"
Abbot took the tissue in front of him and wiped his mouth, "I'm full. I got some work to do. See you."
Abbot didn't answer Colin's words at all. After that, he picked up the phone on the table and left in a hurry.
He probably thought it was inappropriate to walk out of the private room, and then walked back half a minute later.
Colin and Ethan looked at him together.
Abbot looked embarrassed. "It's on me."
He left again.
Abbot strode away, and Colin and Ethan laughed at the same time.
Ethan said, "Did he had a setback?"
