After Ethan finished speaking, there was a moment of silence.

After a few seconds, Colin said in a low voice, "Why don't you ask the girl how she feels about it?"

Ethan raised his eyebrows and seemed confused, "Huh?"

Colin joked, "What if she is willing to be with you?"

Ethan was silent and didn't answer.

Since Violet had met Colin and Faye before, she took the initiative to say hello this time.

Faye smiled and asked, "Are you busy recently?"

Violet answered, "It's okay. It isn't that busy. Just have to participate in a few competitions."

Faye said, "Wishing you all the best."

Violet smiled and replied, "Thank you."

After greeting each other, Ethan left with Violet.

Their walking pace was almost the same. When Colin saw that they were about to get into the taxi, he said with a smile, "Ms. Rowan."

Violet turned her head with confusion, "Huh?"

Colin continued, "Ethan has drank a lot tonight. Please take care of him."

Violet turned around to glance at Ethan, who looked fine, and said, "Okay."

Colin replied, "Thank you."

Violet said, "That's what I should do."

After Violet finished speaking, she reached out to open the door, looked at Ethan, and said, "You first."

Ethan looked down at Violet and with a hoarse voice, "Um."

After Ethan bent and got into the car, Violet helped him to close the door. Then, she trotted to the other door and got into the car.

Ethan moved his hand on his lap. Violet leaned forward and told the driver, "Sir, Meadow View Community, please."

The driver responded, "Okay."

The car started to move slowly. Violet suddenly took out a thermos mug from her arms and handed it to Ethan.

Ethan looked confused, "Huh?"

Violet explained, "It's for your hangover."

Ethan took it with his hand, twisted it open, and took a sip. Then, he gave a fair comment, "It tastes good."

When Ethan finished speaking and was about to take a second sip, he heard Violet say, "I heard from a former classmate today that he has returned to his hometown, and probably won't harass me again in the future."

Who was she referring to?

Of course, Violet was talking about her ex-boyfriend.

Ethan tightened his hand which was holding the thermos mug calmly, and said without any expression, "Shall I move out tomorrow?"

Violet didn't notice that Ethan acted weird. She smiled softly and said, "Thank you for your care all this while."

Ethan answered, "Um."

After that, he picked up the thermos mug in his hand and took a big sip of the drink. He drank it too quickly and he got choked which caused him to cough badly.

Seeing that, Violet hurriedly reached out to pat Ethan's back.

Ethan waved his hand at her and said in a calm voice, "Do you still need me to pick you up from work in the evening?"

Violet answered, "No. I'll take the taxi to go home."
