Chapter 474 The One Who Felt Aggrieved
When Abbot finished speaking, Rebecca was stunned on the other end of the phone for a few seconds.
The corners of her mouth twitched, and she replied in confusion, "Huh?"
Abbot took a deep breath and repeated, "I'm outside of your house. Come out now."
Rebecca was stunned and asked, "Are you in the Blacks' villa or my apartment?"
Abbot answered, "The villa."
Rebecca was stunned for a moment before she answered, "I see. Give me a minute."
After that, she went to the wardrobe, took out a coat randomly, and draped it over her body. Then, she trotted downstairs.
Rebecca's mother was talking on the phone with her best friend in the living room, discussing places for traveling. Seeing Rebecca running out of the door in thin clothes, she was concerned and asked, "Where are you going with so little clothes?"
Rebecca didn't look back and answered, "The sugar daddy is outside the house."
Rebecca's mother didn't hear the word 'sugar', but only heard "daddy". She frowned and asked, "Why can't you wait till your father enters the house? Outside is..."
Before Rebecca's mother could finish her words, Rebecca had already gone and was nowhere to be seen.
Rebecca's mother's voice came to an abrupt end and continued to talk to her friend on the other end of the phone about travel.
A few minutes later, Rebecca stood in front of Abbot's car, pulled her clothes together tightly, and smiled ingratiatingly.
"Mr. Carter."
Abbot frowned slightly and said, "Get into the car."
Seeing that Abbot wasn't looking happy, Rebecca responded with a "yes" quickly. She walked around the car, opened the passenger door, and bent over to get into the car.
Spring started two days ago but the temperature was still very unstable.
During the day, the temperature was fine. But it would get cold at night.
Abbot reached out his hand and raised the temperature inside the car composedly. Then, he closed up the car window which he wound down, and looked at Rebecca with his chin taut.
Rebecca was rubbing her cold hands. When she saw that Abbot was looking at her with a serious face, she was shocked. She stopped rubbing her hands and asked, "Mr. Carter, what's wrong?"
Abbot was trying to make up something on his mind quickly with one of his hands on the steering wheel and said, "Recently, we are looking for an ambassador for our resort."
After hearing his words, Rebecca got his implication instantly. She swallowed hard and asked, "That needs money?"
Abbot answered, "Yes."
After that, Abbot clenched his hand on the steering wheel tightly and said, "We need the effect of advertisement. If we want to be well-known, we have to promote it properly."
If they want to attract people's attention and be known to everyone, the advertisement was inevitable.
Rebecca understood that well.
But she didn't have any more spare money with her recently.
She just invested her dividend to build a factory a while ago, and she still didn't see any progress now.
Of course, she couldn't tell Abbot about that.
