Chapter 482 Better Safe Than Sorry
The agreement between Colin and Tiffany was that they should let go of the grudges between their two generations.
But the resentment between Tiffany and Blaine belonged to the previous generation, which had nothing to do with that agreement.
When Robert finished speaking, Colin threw the car key in his hand to him.
Robert caught it and turned around to open the passenger's seat door.
Colin bent and got into the car. Then, he adjusted his legs. After Robert got into the car, Colin said, "Let those old men in the headquarters speed up on what they are doing. They will be kicked out by Tiffany if they drag on."
Robert started to drive and replied, " I'll contact them later."
Colin continued, "Well, take some extraordinary measures when it's necessary."
Robert answered, "Got it."
The car was moving slowly. Robert glanced at Colin through his side and seemed to have something to say but he remained quiet.
Colin didn't turn to look at him and said solemnly, "If you have anything to say, just say it."
Robert said, "Mrs. Farrell seems to know about Blaine's return."
When talking about Faye, Colin's expression looked less hostile. He said, "Um."
Robert continued, "Mrs. Farrell has been asking Lance to keep an eye on him. I guess Mrs. Farrell is probably worried that Blaine will come to you."
Whatever Robert was telling Colin pleased him. The anger that he had been holding since he left the Farrells' Mansion dissipated immediately. He raised his hand, pinched his eyebrows, and said with a sweet smile, "I know."
After Colin finished speaking, he put down his hand and added, "Don't let the people sent by Lance find out about your people."
Robert answered, "Understood."
Colin said, "She is just worried about me."
Robert responded sincerely, "Yes. We all know how well Mrs. Farrell is treating you."
Hearing that, Colin looked to his sideways at Robert, and narrowed his eyes, "Robert, why do I find that you are reacting perfunctorily?"
Robert explained himself hurriedly, "Mr. Farrell, that's absolutely not true. Every sentence comes from the bottom of my heart."
Colin sneered, "I will go for the surgery this weekend. Keep an eye on the office next week onwards."
Robert asked, "How long do you need for your recovery?"
Colin answered, "I don't know yet. I'm waiting for the doctor to tell me."
Robert nodded. After a while, he asked, "Mr. Farrell, after the surgery, do you have to..."
Colin raised his eyebrows and asked, "What?"
Robert said cautiously, "Not to get close to the...woman."
Colin put away the smile on his face and looked at Robert, "Robert, are you looking for a layoff?"
Robert didn't dare to say anything.
Colin added, "That isn't happy news to be reminded of."
