Chapter 483 Kidnapping
The person on the phone sounded gender-neutral. The phone number was encrypted, and the voice was processed.
Hearing the words, Faye answered in a light voice, "I'm not interested in these photos."
Hearing her answer, the caller was stunned and then laughed mockingly, "Ms. Nash, you are not interested, but what about Mr. Farrell?"
Faye replied, "If you want to know his reaction, you can send him the photos."
The caller was speechless.
Although it was safer to process the voice like this, it was different from directly using a voice changer. There were the noises of electric currents from time to time, sounding harsh and uncomfortable.
The caller didn't reply after Faye finished speaking, so she hung up the call.
Then, she thought for a few seconds and sent a message to Alexander, asking, "Can you find the real IP of an encrypted phone number?"
But Alexander did not reply, so she called him directly after about ten minutes.
After the phone rang for a few seconds, Alexander picked it up and said in a low voice, "Hey, Faye."
Faye was stunned and asked, "Are you in a meeting?"
Alexander whispered, "Yes. I'll call you later, ok?"
Faye replied, "OK."
Hanging up the phone, the gloomy expression on her face turned into a smile.
She had been so busy recently that she had forgotten Alexander was still being forced to be the acting president.
Half an hour later, Alexander called her.
After she answered the call, he said in a sobbing voice, "Faye."
Faye asked, "Have you read my message?"
Alexander did not answer her question but said, "I don't want the huge salary anymore. Can you talk with Collin and ask him to fire me? Working as the acting president is too torturing."
Faye grinned, "You've been doing the work for a long time. Haven't you gotten used to it yet?"
Alexander said, "I wake up so early and stayed up so late, and they often force me to travel..."
The more he said, the more distressed he felt.
Faye smiled, "With great power comes great responsibility."
Alexander said, "I don't deserve the position! I am not capable enough!"
His complaint was always long and annoying. Faye did not want him to continue, so she said, "Come on! Let's change the subject. Can you track down an encrypted phone number?"
