Chapter 588 The Progress Was Too Fast
Ethan had never kissed a girl before. He did it by instinct.
In the beginning, he thought that his kissing skills were bad enough. But he didn't expect that Violet was worse than him. She couldn't even catch up with her breath.
After that kiss, Ethan pressed her against the wall and panted. Violet was pulling Ethan's shirt on his chest with her blushing cheeks, she could hardly stand on her feet.
After a long while, Ethan's Adam's apple moved and he asked in a hoarse voice, "Are you afraid now?"
Violet remained silent and those hands she used to clench on Ethan got tightened.
Ethan thought that she was afraid and that made him feel worried. He moved his hand that was on her waist to pat her back lightly.
Violet shuddered and whispered, "Ethan."
Ethan's heart got tightened suddenly and said, "I won't touch you."
Violet said, "You are a bastard."
Ethan couldn't recall how he left and went downstairs afterward.
All that he could remember was the word 'bastard' that Violet called him.
Ethan was sitting in his car and smoking. He wound down the car window and flicked the ashes.
Is he a bastard?
If he was a bastard, he would have...
His thoughts abruptly stopped there. Ethan raised his hand and pulled off the tie between his neck. He leaned back into the seat and closed his eyes.
He thought to himself, "It would be better if I hadn't lived in with her for that month."
"Or, it would be better if I hadn't listened to the old man's instruction which is to help her all the time."
But among all those things that were available in the world, there was no medicine to treat regret.
On the other side, Violet sat on the couch with her face flushed and said nothing.
Saylor got her a glass of water with his injured body, knowing that he had done something wrong. He touched the tip of his nose and asked, "Violet, are you okay?"
Violet pursed her lips, reached out to take the pillow next to her, and put it into her arms, "Give him a call. Tell him not to drive and get a chauffeur instead."
Saylor was stunned, "What?"
Violet said in a muffled voice, "He drank the wine just now."
When Saylor heard Violet's words, the self-blame on his face turned into gossip mode in seconds, "What does it have to do with you even if he is driving under the influence of alcohol?"
When Saylor finished his words, Violet glanced coldly at him.
Saylor took two steps back. Seeing that Violet didn't seem very angry, he continued to say playfully, "Violet, I saw it just now that Ethan held you in his arms and kissed you. Then, he pushed you against the wall..."
Violet raised her voice and yelled, "Saylor Brooke!"
Saylor teased, "I remember when you were with your ex-boyfriend, you said that kissing is such an intimate thing that you must get married before you can do it."
