Outside the window, a short-haired woman, Regina Marsh, was holding Jeremy's arm. Their behavior was intimate. She had an ice cream in her hand. After taking a few licks, she smiled and held it up to Jeremy.
Although Skylar couldn't hear their conversation, it wasn't hard to guess. Regina was likely inviting Jeremy to share her ice cream.
It wasn't unusual for a couple to share an ice cream.
Jeremy didn't take a bite but gazed at her with a soft expression. The two of them walked to the roadside, got into a car, and drove out of Skylar's sight.
She raised an eyebrow slightly. It seemed like Jeremy had moved on from Natalie.
A few minutes later, she got back on the subway and headed to the film set.
Charles was doing a cameo for a movie, and Austin was the male lead. Natalie was also part of the crew, so Skylar thought it would be a good opportunity to visit them.
…
Paul finally had some free time.
He slept for a few hours after getting off the plane and returning home. Then, he was called to the Apollo Hospital to handle the aftermath of Jenny's car accident.
He slept again after returning from the hospital.
When he finally dragged himself out of bed, he checked his email.
He and Joe had been on a business trip abroad for the past few days, and his inbox was overflowing with various documents he hadn't had a chance to review.
Now that he finally had the time, he began going through them one by one.
After all, that was why he earned his money. He was capable but also diligent. It was hard-earned money.
There were just too many emails.
After going through the emails one by one, Paul's attention was suddenly caught by one of them.
