“Since Skye’s here, why don’t we let her see the letter too?” George suddenly suggested to Gloria. 

She straightened her expression and nodded. “Yes, we were planning to call you over tomorrow. But since you’re both here now, this is perfect.” 

Even Alexander seemed to grow more serious at the mention of the letter. It seemed that the letter mentioned by George was indeed very important. 

Skylar didn’t expect that Viola had written the letter. “We want you to confirm if it’s in her handwriting,” Gloria asked after Skylar had 

taken a look. 

They were concerned that Viola’s handwriting might have changed after all these years. If someone had forged it, they might not be 

able to tell. 

Skylar’s hands trembled slightly as she held the letter. In this day and age, people usually communicate through text messages on WhatsApp or a quick call. Hardly anyone wrote letters to convey 

messages anymore.

Her nose tingled as she fought back tears. Viola had practically 

raised her, teaching her so much, and was no different from her real grandmother. 

“It’s a letter from Grandma Viola, Skylar said, her voice catching slightly. 

In the letter, Viola said she was doing well. She mentioned that she knew Skylar had married Joe and asked Gloria to take care of her. 

Viola was also aware of the issues regarding negative items in Jipsburg City now. 

She told them to trust her and said she could help with the situation. Viola mentioned she would be returning to Jipsburg in a 

while. 

When Skylar confirmed that Viola had indeed written the letter, the three elders‘ eyes grew misty, like children on the verge of tears.
