Yuliana was stunned.
What?
Tremaine had broken up with Yesseca and she was banned from coming back to Nashaland?
Yuliana stammered, "Madam Quartley, do you mean it?"
Tremaine loved Yesseca so much, so was he actually willing to expel her forever from Nashaland?
Madam Quartley replied, "If it wasn't true, do you think I would let that woman go so easily after trying to kill Montez?"
Yuliana's mind turned.
It was true.
That's right. No matter how much Tremaine loved Yesseca, if she did something like that to his son, would Tremaine still have any love left for her?
Unless he had no fatherly love for Montez.
Otherwise, not a single father would have permitted others to hurt his son.
Yuliana was happy but also felt a little disappointed.
She was elated that Yesseca had been driven out of Quartley Palace.
And banned from returning to Nashaland!
What did this mean?
It meant that Tremaine and Yesseca would never be together again!
However, to her disappointment, Yuliana felt that they had let Yesseca off lightly.
After all, Yesseca had almost killed Montez, yet she had been allowed to leave!
Yuliana said unwillingly, "Madam, I think that she's been let off too lightly. She nearly killed Montez. How can she just be let off like that?"
Madam Quartley was also not very satisfied, but since things had reached this stage, there was nothing much she could do.
She said, "When I went back, Tremaine had already sent that woman away. Since he has already let her go, it's a good thing that he is no longer with such a vicious woman anymore."
Yuliana wanted to say something, but since Madam Quartley looked like she was finished thinking about it, she held her tongue.
Later, Qiana woke up.
Madam Quartley told her that it was Yesseca who had poisoned the broth. This was the conclusion to the whole incident.
Upon hearing this, Qiana did not react much. Her entire person seemed to be somewhat numb.
Madam Quartley's heart seemed to ache for Qiana.
She took Qiana's hand and comforted her, "Qiana, it's good that Montez is fine. Don't think too much about it. As long as that vicious woman is out of Nashaland, she can't come back. You don't have to worry."
Qiana's eyes were red. She seemed to be mumbling to herself, "How could she be so evil? Montez really likes her, why did she want to hurt him? Why is she so evil?"
Hearing Qiana muttering to herself, Madam Quartley felt her heart ache even more. She hated Yesseca even more.
She tightened her grip on Qiana's hand, "Qiana, don't think too much about it. No matter how bad she is, it has nothing to do with us. We won't be able to see her in the future. Tremaine has sent her away."
Qiana said no more. She kept sniffling.
After another hour, it was completely dark, and Madam Quartley wanted to rest.
Yuliana went to have a rest with Madam Quartley.
And when the two of them had walked out of the room, Qiana's expression changed. The sad expression on her face instantly vanished, replaced by a look of arrogance.
She had finally won this battle.
However, she had always been in fear.
After all, what she had done was very risky. If she was not careful enough, she would have died.
However, she still chose to take the risk.
But she still had confidence.
