Sheldon thought that Tremaine must have some work that he wanted to give him, but Tremaine just stared at him silently from the moment he entered the office.
Sheldon was at a loss for words.
His heart was a beating drum in his chest. What was wrong with Tremaine? Why was he just staring at him?
After seeing that Tremaine still hadn't spoken after five minutes, Sheldon finally couldn't help it.
He said cautiously, "Sir, do you have anything to tell me?"
Tremaine still did not speak.
A white light suddenly flashed through Sheldon's mind.
Did Tremaine perhaps know that he had been in the office reading for a whole night and that he had been having dirty thoughts?
Sheldon panicked.
Logically speaking, as an adult, it was normal for him to have that kind of thoughts about women.
But he felt very ashamed. That was why he'd read the book and wanted to correct his thoughts.
Tremaine had not called him here to lecture him, right?
Or was there a misunderstanding?
Was it because he found out that Sheldon read the book last night and brought him here to ask him why? Tremaine didn't know that he had been having lustful thoughts and thought that it was something else.
Sheldon was shocked.
Was Tremaine perhaps wondering if he had been thinking of betraying Nashaland?
After all, he used to be someone who had almost made a big mistake!
Thinking of this, Sheldon was a little flustered.
He immediately said to Tremaine, "Sir, I read the rules book last night in the office because I wanted to correct my thoughts and not because I had any intentions of betraying Nashaland."
Tremaine was at a loss for words.
He looked at Sheldon strangely.
What was Sheldon thinking about?
Sheldon felt that he was right when he saw Tremaine's expression.
As expected, Tremaine had thought so.
Sheldon couldn't care less about the embarrassment. He immediately explained, "Your Excellency, I have lustful thoughts about women. I wanted to correct those impure thoughts which was why I read the book. Don't misunderstand."
Tremaine was speechless.
He seemed to understand something.
He glanced at Sheldon coldly and said, "If you don't have feelings for women at your age, then I would think there was something wrong with you."
Sheldon was rendered speechless.
Tremaine was not interested in talking about this with Sheldon.
He had called Sheldon here today for another reason.
It was about Yesseca.
Yesterday, he'd heard from Sheldon that Yesseca was ill. Tremaine had scolded Sheldon and told him not to bring it up again.
Sheldon had stopped talking about it but Tremaine kept on thinking about Yesseca.
His mind was filled with Yesseca.
What had happened to her?
Sheldon had purposely come to him and told him about that. Was it very serious?
How serious was her sickness?
These thoughts kept lingering in Tremaine's mind. Even last night, he couldn't fall asleep.
In the morning, he finally couldn't take it anymore and called Sheldon over.
However, after Sheldon came, his throat seemed to be blocked again and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't open his mouth.
With Sheldon opening up, Tremaine felt more relaxed. He finally asked, "What about Yesseca? How is she?"
Tremaine's unexpected question surprised Sheldon.
After a while, Sheldon came to his senses.
He was speechless.
