"Honey, I'm leaving," Zorion remarked softly and walked out of the bedroom.
Normally, Yuliana would have stopped Zorion.
She didn't care about what Zorion would do outside. She was just afraid that he would bump into Madam Quartley or Tremaine. She would inevitably be reprimanded.
But this time, Yuliana didn't say anything.
Because she was angry.
The anger and jealousy was about to burn her up. She didn't have the presence of mind to stop him.
Zorion wandered around Quartley Palace.
At this moment, the Quartley family members were all resting.
Looking at the empty Quartley Palace, Zorion suddenly felt indescribably lonely.
He wanted to go out for a walk.
Perhaps it would be more lively outside.
Hence, Zorion walked out of Quartley Palace.
When Zorion came out of Quartley Palace, the soldiers guarding the palace happened to be exchanging shifts. When they noticed Zorion, they only saw his back.
Zorion was about the same height as Tremaine, and their backs were extremely similar. The soldiers thought that he was Tremaine.
"Good evening, Mr. Tremaine!" the soldier greeted loudly.
Zorion didn't hear him and just left.
He walked all the way to the brightly lit place, to the crowded place.
Hoping it could dissipate some of the loneliness in his heart.
When Zorion walked to the street, he saw a young couple holding a child, talking and laughing along the way.
Zorion stopped.
He stared at the young couple and the child.
It was so nice of them to do that.
Zorion thought.
In fact, he also hoped that he could hold Yuliana's hand and have a child.
But Yuliana seemed unwilling to have children with him.
Was it because he was too stupid?
Zorion touched his head, feeling a little dizzy.
He didn't think about it anymore.
He would never think too much about a problem that would make his head hurt.
Zorion continued to move forward. After walking for about five minutes, there were fewer and fewer people. Zorion was about to go back when he saw Ruth.
Ruth was being pestered by two men.
The two men were obviously drunk. They surrounded Ruth and prevented her from leaving.
Ruth had came out for a walk that night.
She heard that pregnant women needed to walk as much as possible because it was good for the fetus and that it would be easier to give birth. Hence, Ruth would take a walk every night.
That night, she was wearing a loose dress. She was petite and thin. Hence, it was hard to tell that she was pregnant when she wore the loose dress. Unexpectedly, she had been pestered.
"Little girl, let's go and have fun together. Since you are alone, why don't we bring you to have fun?"
"Come with me. I promise you'll have a good time."
Ruth was both anxious and angry.
"Go away! If you don't, I'll call the police!" Ruth
shouted.
The two men weren't afraid at all.
"Call the police. We are just making friends. The police won't care about us."
"That's right. It's not illegal to make friends. Nashaland doesn't have this law. Even the president can't control us."
Ruth didn't bring her phone. Thus, she couldn't call the police.
She just said that to scare the two men, but she didn't expect that they were not afraid at all.
Just when Ruth was so anxious that she didn't know what to do, two stones suddenly flew over.
