Preslie pondered over it before she decided, "No, I have to find Mr. Tremaine again. I can't let him marry that woman."

When he saw her mulish expression, Sheldon raised his voice at her, "Preslie Fernandez, that's enough! Mr. Tremaine is not a patient person. If you keep going like this, you're only going to make trouble for yourself."

Preslie had created a fuss every day in order to find Tremaine, and to annoy him so much that he left of his own accord... it made Sheldon tremble in fear at the remembered sight.

Normally, Preslie would have been locked up in prison a long time ago for what she did.

He didn't even know when Tremaine's patience had improved to such an extent.

But that didn't mean it would remain this way in the future.

Tremaine was obviously furious when Sheldon saw his face earlier. If Preslie crossed the line again, he was afraid that an uncontrollable situation might occur.

For that reason, he must stop her.

"But I'm doing it for Yesseca," Preslie mumbled in a low voice.

"Didn't you just hear him say that he's going to get married with someone else? If you continue to insist on looking for Mr. Tremaine, it will only add fuel to the fire. He might even think that Yesseca was the one who had instructed you to find him, that she was still hung up on him and is now pestering him even when he's about to get married."

Sheldon and Preslie had been in contact with each other for some time now, he knew what she was like all things considered.

He knew what to say that would be enough to rile her up.

Sure enough, when she heard what Sheldon said, Preslie reacted in an explosive manner. "How can that be? Yesseca didn't ask me to find Mr. Tremaine, I came of my own volition, it had nothing to do with her!"

"But others might not think so." Sheldon refuted.

As for how Tremaine went to see Yesseca twice in secret, as well as left instructions to take care of her, Sheldon had no intention to disclose this to Preslie.

That was because he understood that even though Tremaine had done so, there was no possibility of reconciliation between him and Yesseca.

Otherwise, he wouldn't have said that he would marry another woman.

To tell Preslie would just let her overthink the situation, hence he decided to keep quiet about it.

After a pause, Sheldon continued, "Preslie, I've followed Mr. Tremaine for many years and I know him very well. He's not the type to speak frivolous words on a whim. Since he's already said that he's going to marry Qiana, I'm afraid that this matter is a done deal."

Preslie's face darkened in an instant.

She stood there, all without saying a word.

A while later, she suddenly slammed her hand down on the table. "Forget it, I've made a wrong judgment in character. Here I thought that Mr. Tremaine was a good man who was deeply in love, now I know that's not the case! All men are absolute pigs! No exceptions!"

"They're all so fickle, like one thing only to like another in the next moment, none of them are any good! Every single one of them is wicked!"

Sheldon kept quiet.

He wanted to say that he himself wasn't like that, but he dared not voice it out at the sight of Preslie's angrily flushed face.

Preslie turned on her heel and walked out of the office after her tirade. Sheldon was about to chase after her, only to be intercepted by someone.

That person discussed with him about matters from work, and how that it had to be done by the end of the day.

Sheldon had a strict work discipline, and took his work seriously. After much thought, he thought he would talk things out properly with Preslie at a later date. However, first he needed to clear the workload in front of him.

Sheldon was under the assumption that Preslie would go back to her office after she left Tremaine's, but who knew that she had left the building entirely.

After she heard with her own ears how Tremaine was getting married with another woman, plus adding that to what Sheldon said to her, the more she thought about it the more miserable she felt.

She had a feeling that this time, Tremaine and Yesseca really had no way to mend their relationship.

Tremaine was such a huge pig!

Since Yesseca had already left and would not return here again, then what was she even still doing here in Nashaland?
