Preslie had no idea where she got the courage but she shouted, "Of course I know what I'm doing! I am seeking justice for my friend Yesseca!"
"Mr. Tremaine, why did you treat Yesseca like this? Why did you listen to that b*tch, Qiana?"
"Is it because she is the mother of your child? That is why everything that she says is right? Do you believe that Yesseca will really harm someone?"
"I can tell you for sure that Yesseca will never do this! The Yesseca I know is a warm-hearted and kind girl. She will never do anything despicable!"
"Mr. Tremaine, you used to be so close to Yesseca. I thought you must know Yesseca better than me, yet how can you doubt her? Don't you even understand her?"
Tremaine was rendered speechless by Preslie's questions.
Preslie's face was turning red as she continued, "Mr. Tremaine, Yesseca is not like me. I came to Nashaland because my parents didn't love me and Nashaland was like a paradise to me, but things are different for Yesseca. Her sister and her brother in law loved her, they are rich and powerful. They spoiled her very much."
"Yesseca could have lived like a princess here, but yet she went to Nashaland. She did that for you. I felt that she would never be as happy there as she was in Agaphen City. She decided to stay there for you, and yet you treated her like this?"
"Mr. Tremaine! You actually drove Yesseca out of Nashaland! That's like driving a knife into her heart. How could you do this? You are heartless and vicious man!"
These words were in Preslie's mind for a long time and she finally managed to say them.
She was trembling all over.
But there was still a trace of fear in her voice.
She was afraid that Tremaine would kill her for what she said.
But on second thought, she didn't care.
It would be a meaningless life if she remained silent anyway.
There was no way she could go back to Nashaland. She was not happy in Agaphen City either. Each day was worse than the last. It was better for her to stand up for her friend and die trying.
Preslie looked at Tremaine bravely.
She wanted to be brave and righteous, but Tremaine did not intend to kill her.
Because Tremaine was not angry.
Preslie's words hit him hard. He was not angry, but he was deeply pained.
It was extremely painful.
Finally, the irony occurred.
It was not the irony that the other party was looking forward to, but himself.
How ridiculous he was!
Preslie was Yesseca's friend, yet she believed in Yesseca more than he did.
As for him, he was Yesseca's closest person.
Yet he suspected her and expelled her from Nashaland!
Tremaine opened the car door and got into the car. He drove off at top speed.
Preslie was speechless.
She was so agitated from her words just now that she forgot to stop Tremaine from leaving.
Why did Tremaine leave just like that...
Preslie couldn't believe it.
He was such a cold and decisive person.
He was emotionless even after she had scolded him. How could he leave in disgrace?
Preslie's mind went blank.
After waiting for a long time, she came back to her senses.
Wait!
Something seemed to be wrong!
