"Wait," Yesseca said and suddenly ran into the kitchen.
She filled a small plate with all kinds of desserts and handed it to Preslie, "Have a try, see if it's any good."
Preslie picked up a cookie.
While she was in Nashaland, she had already tried Yesseca's desserts. She felt that they were good and they kept improving each time.
Preslie exclaimed, "It's very good! It's like those sold in bakeries. Yesseca, how did you learn how to make these?"
Yesseca blushed, "Perhaps it's just practice. I also tried to learn the right method."
After a pause, Yesseca spoke of her plans, "At the end of the month, there will be a well known dessert maker coming here. I want to learn from her. I heard that she makes very good macarons. I'm decent at other desserts, but I still haven't mastered how to make macarons yet."
"By the way, how are you doing at work now, Preslie?"
Preslie's expression changed.
What should she say?
She was very unhappy at work.
She did not get along well with her colleagues and her supervisors were all aggressive. She didn't enjoy what she did.
"It's fine, I guess," said Preslie.
"Preslie, if you're willing, I'd like to open a bakery. Maybe you can come and help me out, we can work together," said Yesseca, "Opening a bakery means that I won't be doing it just at home. I will need others to help, so I hope I can hire some people."
Preslie agreed without any hesitation.
She didn't want her previous job anymore.
Yesseca smiled, "That's awesome. Thank you, Preslie."
Yesseca was so happy that she kissed Preslie on the cheek.
Preslie was speechless.
Looking at Yesseca's happy face, she decided not to tell her that she had seen Tremaine earlier.
She had been hesitating ever since she entered the house. Should she tell Yesseca?
But now...
Since Yesseca was living so well, there was no
need for her to mention that man!
Preslie stayed with Yesseca over the next few days, learning how to bake. Although she was rather clumsy, she still felt extremely happy.
Because she thought of Yesseca's subsequent plans.
It seemed incredibly fun to open a bakery and work together as partners.
She would no longer have to stay at the job that she hated. She would have her own career.
It would be great!
Her mood, which had previously been terrible, had significantly improved after hearing this news.
Tremaine drove back to Nashaland.
He received a call once he arrived.
It was the wedding planning company that was preparing his wedding with Qiana.
The company informed Tremaine of some details and wanted to ask him what his views were.
Tremaine was already depressed and he felt furious when he heard the call.
He shouted into the phone, "Who gave you the permission to call me? Who said that I'm marrying
that woman?"
The other party trembled in shock, "Mr. Tremaine, you were the one who said that you are going to marry Miss Qiana. The wedding dress has already been custom made."
Tremaine tightened his grip on his phone, almost breaking it into pieces.
He took a deep breath.
