Ruth nodded, as though holding in her pain.
She said, "Mr. Zorion, I'm going to rest. Please don't come again."
"But my wife agreed to let me come see you."
"Even if she agrees, don't look for me," said Ruth.
Zorion's eyes became even darker.
He simply muttered a reply and turned towards the door.
Looking at Zorion's back, Ruth felt as though millions of blades were stabbing her heart.
She clenched the blanket with both hands and bit her lip.
If possible, she would rather go back to the past.
Even as a servant, she could still stay with Zorion even though Yuliana was mean to her.
Unfortunately, there was no "if" in life.
Ever since Zorion and her slept together, they were in a dilemma.
As Zorion approached the door, he stopped.
He stood there motionless.
Ruth did not know what Zorion was going to do.
She wanted to ask him, but stopped herself.
He turned and looked sadly at Ruth. Then, he asked, "Ruth, is it because you have a husband now that you no longer want me as your friend?"
Ruth was stunned.
Zorion looked even more aggrieved, "I came to look for you to play with me, but you refused. You've never said that you wanted to rest, but ever since you have a husband, you don't want me anymore."
Hearing Zorion's words, Ruth's heart tightened.
She said, "Mr. Zorion, that's not what I mean."
"It is," said Zorion, "Ruth, you don't want me. Now that you're back at Quartley Palace, you don't want me anymore."
"Ruth, I miss you so much. I was wondering when you will return. I'm delighted that you're back, but you don't want me to come and look for you."
Ruth felt extremely guilty as she saw how sad Zorion was becoming.
"Mr. Zorion, I..." Ruth had to stop herself.
She turned her head and said, "I'm going to rest. You'd better go."
Zorion took one last disappointed look at Ruth and finally left.
As Zorion's figure disappeared through the door,
Ruth's eyes turned red.
At the same time, in Agaphen City.
Yesseca had resigned.
She had officially decided to open a bakery.
The location of the store had been selected. It would be at the center of Agaphen City.
It was an expensive place, but Selina had settled the payment for Yesseca. She even helped Yesseca renovate the place.
After leaving the company, Yesseca and Preslie went to take a look at the renovations.
Preslie had resigned a day earlier than Yesseca.
When they arrived, most of the renovations had been completed.
Although it was not completely finished yet, Yesseca could see the outline of it. It made her extremely excited.
She had only briefly chatted with Selina about her idea. Yesseca did not expect Selina to be able to find a place for her and had the renovation done so quickly!
The whole design was done according to Yesseca's interest.
"Yesseca, I think we can open the bakery in less than half a month," said Preslie as she smiled at Yesseca.
