"Nothing." Presliethen said, "Don't bother Yesseca. It's impossible for us to be together anyway. We're on opposite sides."
Soon, it was the next day.
Early that morning, someone knocked on Yesseca's front door.
Yesseca opened the door and was shocked to see who it was.
The person standing behind her door was Sheldon.
"Sheldon. Are you looking for Preslie?" Yesseca asked.
Because Sheldon was by himself, she assumed that he had come looking for Preslie.
Sheldon stared at Yesseca. "Miss Cowell, I'm not here for Preslie. I'm here for you."
Yesseca's breathing grew heavy as her face turned cold. "Sheldon, if you've come looking for me for you own reasons, I'm fine with that. But if you're here because Tremaine told you to, then I won't talk to you." "Miss Cowell, the president didn't send me here."
As soon as Yesseca relaxed, Sheldon asked, "Ms. Cowell, do you know what happened to the president that night, after you said all those things to him?"
"He vomited blood! He had to be taken to the hospital!"
Yesseca felt her heart jump. Just as she was about to ask him for details, she caught herself and stopped herself from asking.
Regardless, whether he had vomited blood or not, if he had been sent to the hospital, none of this was her business anymore.
