"Mommy, don't rush yourself if you're busy with work. I'm not in a hurry," Lawrie's childlike voice transmitted from the receiver to Vanessa's ear, which made her feel like crying. It was difficult for her to imagine that her little baby would no longer pester her and got along well with his new friends from kindergarten in just a few days.
