He looked at her.
He thought of something and smiled at the thought.
"Caspian, why don't you understand the older, the wiser?
You don't help me.
But someone else will help me."
"Dahlia..." Brian looked down, looking downcast.
"Caspian's home. Didn't you go in?" Dahlia asked.
"I went in." Brian sighed heavily. "We fought, and he kicked me out."
"What happened? What was the fight over? It was Caspian who was wrong. You are the elder, and he cannot kick you out. Come on. Come back with me. I'll tell him!"
"Dahlia, don't..." Brian rushed to stop. "It's better for you to stay out of this. You and Caspian have a good life, and I'll block everything else for you!"
As Dahlia heard this, she grew to realize something was wrong. "Mr. Hansen, something is wrong, isn't it?"
"Don't ask..."
Brian turned his head away.
"Mr. Hansen, if it concerns Caspian and me, please do tell." Dahlia was serious.
Brian pondered for a moment.
"Let's go over there and sit down and talk slowly."
Brian gestures to a table not far away.
In a moment, the two men sat down opposite each other.
"Go ahead," Dahlia said in a hushed voice.
"It's kind of a family scandal." Brian sighed.
Dahlia tensed.
For some reason, she immediately thought of the way Caspian looked at Evie.
"Never mind, I'll be straight with you. I just realized in the past few days that Evie was actually in a four-year relationship with Caspian before!" Brian looked like he was in pain.
