Brian took a moment to compose himself.
He confirmed that the nurse in front of him was just impatient and not turning into something horrifying.
"Do you mean to say I've been in your hospital all this time?" Brian asked hoarsely.
"Well, isn't that the case?" The nurse frowned and asked, "Do you want to contact your family? You don't seem to be in a normal state of mind."
Brian called three of his sons from the nurse station.
Only Caspian answered the call.
Caspian arrived at the hospital half an hour later. He paid Brian's hospitalization expenses under the guidance of the nurse.
"Your father looks like he's not in a sound state of mind. Does he have a mental illness?" The nurse asked, "After waking up, he seems paranoid and muttering about ghosts and such..."
The hospital was no stranger to strange tales.
The nurse had some courage, but even she felt uneasy hearing Brian's delirious ramblings.
Caspian's eyes flashed with a hint of unease for a moment.
He nodded courteously. "No, he didn't have a history of mental illness. However, he's getting older. Recent business problems have weighed heavily on him, causing him significant stress. Your reminder has prompted me to take him for a thorough check-up."
Caspian headed towards Brian's room after finishing talking with the nurse.
Brian was startled again when Caspian entered the room.
Brian quickly jumped from the bed and pressed himself against the wall, hiding in the corner.
Brian breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Caspian.
Brian's expression turned sour.
"Why did you take so long to come?"
"I got held up outside while making the payment," Caspian glanced at Brian and asked, "What happened to you?"
"You have the audacity to ask?" Brian seethed with anger. "Immediately, find me the best lawyer. I'm going to sue Aron!"
