When Athena and Byron woke up, Mia had already headed to the greenhouse, made an inspection, and picked some ripe vegetables and fruits to bring back.
She also took a shower and changed into clean clothes.
"Miss Mia Newton, it's freezing outside. There's dew and frost on the grass in the morning. Rolling around like that could give you a cold. You can't keep doing this!"
Alice poured Mia some milk. Athena could hear her complaining downstairs as she came down.
"I can no longer keep up with Mia!" she said.
In just half a year, Mia had grown taller and had suddenly had a surge of stamina.
Thus, she was always full of energy, rushing about day in and day out.
"Mommy!"
When Mia saw Athena coming down, she immediately ran over and hugged her. "Did you sleep well?"
"Very well." Athena smiled. "Did you have fun playing with Herbert?"
"Yeah!" Mia nodded happily. "Going to school really gets in the way. I didn't have time for both the greenhouse and Herbert! Herbert missed me so much!"
She sounded worried, wishing she could do more while already having her plate full.
After that, she had breakfast with her parents.
She also shared her plans for the winter holidays, which she had made overnight.
Athena couldn't help but feel that her daughter was being a little too greedy.
Besides studying and painting, she also wanted to visit classmates and friends, take the puppy to the dog park, celebrate Jaxson's birthday, and buy new clothes for Alice.
Other than those, the most important thing in her schedule was Christmas.
She even planned to make a few dishes for the occasion.
As Mia presented her plan, she earnestly sought her mother's opinion and discussed it with her.
