Scarlett had just arrived at Imbe Group Energy when she overheard a group of men engrossed in a conversation inside the elevator lobby.
"This collaboration with the Ross family seems pretty substantial. I wonder what Mr. Crawford is thinking, showing such intense affection for his wife. If this gesture makes the other party uncomfortable and we lose this deal, it would be such a shame."
"Mrs. Crawford has some serious tricks up her sleeve. When she was relatively unknown, she used her looks to captivate Mr. Crawford for five years. Later, he was so mesmerized by her that he turned down Miss Ross."
"Have any of you guys seen her?"
"I haven't met her in person, but I've seen her on TV. She's undeniably gorgeous and has a fantastic figure!"
"So, think about it. Why do you think she was able to bewitch Mr. Crawford like that?"
By then, the men exchanged knowing glances, and their expressions turned lewd.
Scarlett gave them a disgusted look, raising her eyebrows in disdain.
Their attention then shifted to her.
"Hey, you're new here, right?" The creepiest guy approached Scarlett with a lewd smirk. "Which floor are you working on?"
Tall and well-built due to regular exercise, Scarlett's presence drew attention despite her professional office attire.
"The top floor," she replied, staring at him.
"The top floor? Isn't that... the president's office?" The man was taken aback.
Keeping a straight face, Scarlett shoved her name tag in front of him. "I'm the president's assistant."
The men's sleazy expressions instantly vanished, replaced by fear.
"We... we're sorry. Just now..."
"Do you know what sets you guys apart from Mr. Crawford?" Scarlett asked in an icy as she tucked her name tag away.
Without waiting for their response, she continued, "He is a rational being, whereas you guys..."
Her scornful gaze traveled down their crotches. The elevator arrived just in time, and she stepped inside, ignoring them.
The men stood there, looking embarrassed.
