Chapter 1556 Fool
"You're so stern. Mia not did the whole hand-slapping thing," Byron said, hesitating for a split second. Then with a mischievous demeanor, he moved closer to Athena, gently kissed her earlobe, and murmured with a grin, "However, I do enjoy it when Athena disciplines me like that."
Caught off guard, Athena was a bit flustered and went speechless.
She pondered, "I was just teaching him to write. Why did he suddenly start flirting out of the blue?"
While Athena tried to appear unfazed, her swiftly blushing ears gave her away.
"How about we stop writing and head back to the room?" Byron suggested, wrapping his larger hand around Athena's.
Athena glanced at him and seriously retorted, "We can't. We're not leaving until you get it right!"
Byron then wasted no time, quickly grabbing the pen and scribbling his name down.
Athena, witnessing this, was rendered speechless.
She thought, "Is he playing the fool with me?"
"Let's go!" She said.
Byron had become somewhat obsessed with playing little games with Athena these past few days.
Athena was both amused and exasperated.
She followed as he pulled her toward the elevator.
It had been a chaotic day, ending in a whirl of passionate confusion and ridiculous antics.
The main bedroom was dimly lit, with clothes scattered and piled everywhere.
Utterly exhausted, Athena nestled in Byron's arms.
"I have to go to the company tomorrow," Athena murmured, her eyes closed. "Do you want to come with me?"
Byron shook his head. "I'll pass for now. If word gets out about my amnesia, I'm afraid it might cause more trouble for you."
Athena then lightly stroked his waist in reassurance. "Don't worry about it. If you want to go, just go. Nothing else matters."
