Athena followed them slowly with Aiden.
Aiden rarely mentioned the future.
Mia had talked about what she would do when she grew up.
Thus, Athena was a little curious about Aiden's future plans.
"Son, your sister just said that she would work in Stella Group when she grows up. What about you? Do you want to go to Imbe Group or Stella Group?" Athena asked.
Aiden was holding Athena's two fingers.
"Do I have to make a choice between Dad's and your company?"
Athena was stunned and shook her head. "Of course not. You want to start one of your own?"
"Yeah!"
He nodded.
"Mr. Crawford, you have to watch your diet and go to the gym more often. Your son wants to start his own company. You can only count on our grandson to take over your company," Athena teased.
Byron smiled at her.
"Other people start a war over just to take over the family business. We have to beg them to do it."
Athena laughed so hard that her stomach hurt.
When they entered the elevator, they saw Mike stop his car.
Mike's gaze locked on them.
His expression was solemn, very different from usual.
He nodded seriously at Athena.
Athena looked away, and the elevator door closed.
The date for the camping was quickly set.
They decided to go next weekend.
They still chose the forest where they camped last time.
After dinner...
Everyone sat together and began to plan what they were going to bring.
Athena faked a phone call and went to see Mike.
Mike first showed Athena the injury report of the person who Byron beat up.
"It's that serious?" Athena browsed through and frowned.
Three of his ribs were broken, and one of them almost pierced into his lungs.
His left eyeball almost burst.
In addition, the bones of his two fingers, left arm, and right calf were fractured.
There were also multiple bruises on his scalp.
Just by looking at the form, Athena could imagine that Byron had wanted to kill that man.
"Fortunately, he was pulled away in time. Otherwise, things could've gotten worse," Mike replied. "I also went to see the man's family, an old lady, and the kid."
That was exactly what Byron had said. She remembered he had mentioned the old lady.
However, Athena felt that something was wrong.
"The man said that he was willing to accept reconciliation, but he wants three million dollars," Mike continued.
"Yes, but after paying the man's medical bills, I'll give the rest to the boy and the old lady," Athena said.
Mike paused. "The Boy?"
"Wasn't that a boy?" Athena was also stunned.
"It was a girl," explained Mike.
