George frowned. "Tonight?"
"Yes. Tonight. Chelsea is clever, and Byron is there to help her. If we keep Rose alive, I'm afraid things will become out of control," Lien said in a deep voice.
George glanced at her. "Understood. I know what to do. After the shareholders' meeting tomorrow, come and bury her body."
Lien froze for a moment.
She looked at the elegant, cold man, who was like a winter pine. "Doc. Klein, you're different from what I imagined. When I saw you before, you were always gentle and refined. Chelsea and Byron's flash marriage seems to hurt you a lot."
"Are you finished?" George asked with a frown.
Now he seemed to have nothing to do with the words gentle and refined.
"You are handsome, and you will be the president of a large group in the future. You can get any kind of woman. It would help if you let go of yourself. Chelsea is not worthy."
As Lien finished speaking, she patted George on the shoulder and then walked away on high heels.
...
Athena took some pills to help her sleep.
Then she fell asleep until four o'clock in the morning the next day.
Opening her eyes, she saw Byron curled beside her, with no quilt covered.
Athena stared at him for a moment.
Good heavens.
Why did Byron look so much more handsome these days?
Because he was worried about Athena, Byron didn't sleep deeply. And he was very alert. After sensing the eyes staring at him, he woke up quickly.
Opening his eyes, he met Athena's gaze.
Then next second, Byron leaned over and kissed Athena on her lips.
Athena stared at him silently.
