My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 1050

The villa was not very large by Hendrix's standards. The total area of the villa was about three hundred square meters. Of course, for an ordinary family, it was a luxury to live in it.

The villas that Hendrix had purchased previously were all much larger than this one.

But I preferred this one. This villa was the most comfortable one he had bought. The villa's color scheme was an inviting, light yellow.

The furniture was not leather but instead covered in luxurious, umber, soft fabrics. The hall was filled with photos of Anne and me. Some I've never even seen before.

Some of them were him and Anne. Judging by the pictures, it looked like they were taken after I left Jarold City. There were also photos of Hendrix, Anne, and me together.

Most of the photos were candid, from the time when he and I sent Anne to school.

I name the feelings rushing through me. I didn't know if I liked it or hated it.

I felt a burning sensation behind my eyes. I looked away, instinctively wiping away the tears that had trickled down my face.

Needing a distraction, I went into the kitchen and boiled water. I found the tea leaves and cut some fruits from the refrigerator.

The decorations in the villa reminded me strongly of the house in Jarold City.

When I came out with the tea and fruits, I found Hendrix looking down at the documents, Rowane next to him looking at if she had something she wanted to say.

I noticed that although the dishes lay on the table, unpacked yet untouched.

Rowane was definitely unhappy to see me.

"Here comes the tea. I don't know what kind of tea you like to drink, so I only made some Earl Grey tea!" I said and put down two cups of tea.

Hendrix raised his head from perusing the document in his hand aside and said to me. "There's juice and milk in the fridge, specially prepared for you."
