I didn't want to sleep anymore as I'd just woken up and I had plenty of sleep already. I said, "There shouldn't be so many people who hate me so much that they want to kill me, and there should be less who have the guts to do so."
After thinking about it, no matter who I thought of, they did not seem to have the guts.
Naomi came in and her eyes were swollen. It seemed that she had been crying for a long time.
Seeing that I was awake, she was not bothered by the fact that Hendrix was still holding me in his arms. She ran directly to the other side of the bed and threw herself on me. Sobbing, she said, "You've finally woken up. You've been sleeping for three days. I thought you had abandoned me and didn't want to take me to Jarold City."
All of sudden, I had the weight of two people on me.
Fortunately, Sebastian pulled Naomi up and said, "She just woke up. Are you going to make her unconscious again?"
"Boo! You jinx!" Naomi pushed Hendrix and said angrily, "Arianna will live for a hundred more years."
After saying that, she wiped her tears and looked at me, clearly blaming herself, "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were allergic to sesame seeds. If I knew that there was so much sesame powder in the cheese, I wouldn't have bought it for you!"
I smiled faintly and reached out to hold her hand. I patted the back of her hand and said, "It's not your fault. I didn't realize it myself. It was an accident!"
Naomi was still blaming herself, "If you weren't allergic, you wouldn't have come to the hospital, let alone went through what happened next. It's all my fault. If I catch the person who took you away, I'll kill him!"
Sebastian looked at Hendrix and asked, "Did you catch him?"
Hendrix pressed his lips together. His meaning was clear.
Naomi was puzzled. "Didn't we see what the man looked like in the recordings? Even if he wore a mask, it's impossible to not find him. It's been three days!"
"They switched people in the middle. When they left the elevator, they changed hands. The person who brought Arianna into the morgue was not the person who injected her with anesthesia," Hendrix said with a slight frown. "Those people covered their tracks well and avoided all of the surveillance cameras before entering the morgue."
