My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 1342

Looking at her, I couldn't help saying, "I remember you've been trying to get in touch with me a while back. Do you have something to say to me?"

She looked at me. Her eyes were dark and full of childlike innocence. She seemed like she wanted to tell me something, but hesitated. Seeing this, I said to her, "It's fine if you don't feel comfortable saying it. If you need my help in the future, you can tell me. I don't know why you came to me even though you didn't seem fond of me at first, but I think you have your own reasons."

She stared at me in a daze and looked like she wanted to say something, but didn't know how. After a while, she lowered her head and kept quiet.

One shouldn't expect to get any information from a mentally ill person. I didn't force her. I just continued gazing at the night sky outside the window. Everyone in the world had their own struggles.

"Sebastian is not a good person. He's scarier than the devil!" Wendy's trembling voice came to my ears.

I looked at her and saw that her face was pale and her hands were tightly clenched together. This was a sign of inner struggle. Her hands were red and swollen from being held too tight.

I stretched out my hand to help her loosen her grip, but she dodged aside vigilantly. She looked at me, seemingly at a loss, "I'm sorry, I..."

I nodded and kept a distance from her. I looked at her and said, "Don't be nervous. I won't ask you anything. I won't force you to say anything. Just tell me whenever you want. It's alright."

She bit her bottom lip hard and her eyes became a little red.

Sebastian and Naomi came over. Wendy suddenly stood up and ran straight into the bedroom. Naomi was stunned. She looked at me and was a little confused, "What happened to her?"
