People who suffered from illness would always wish to get a fast recovery. Therefore, they might visit a few doctors at the same time, and often took medicine prescribed by different doctors in order to increase the probability of recovery. It was understandable to do so. However, in most cases, negative effects would actually occur due to drug resistance.
If Dr. Jules had not reminded me of this, I would have probably continued to consume the medicine Nerissa had brought back at the same time.
Thinking of this, I started to trust Dr. Jules more.
If I still could not get pregnant with his assistance, I probably wouldn't have any hope for the rest of my life.
After taking a look at the two of us, Dr. Jules probably felt that my mental state was not that good. He said, "You don't have to be too nervous. With modern medical technology, having a thin endometrium is not incurable. With proper medication, the probability of recovery is still very high."
I finally let out a smile and said, "Dr. Jules, thank you."
Thank you so much for giving me the chance to be a mother.
Dr. Jules chuckled. He put his hands on the table with a friendly smile. He seemed like a kind senior whom we had known for decades. He said, "Don't thank me first. It's never easy to prepare for pregnancy. We'll meet every day after this. The treatment and preparation for fertilization will be really tiring. I'm just afraid that you'll be sick of me soon."
I laughed and replied, "Of course not, Dr. Jules. You're really good at making jokes."
"This is not a joke," Dr. Jules replied. He looked at Hendrix and said with a smile, "Mr. Roberts will be busy with his business, but it is better to have good scheduling for these two critical months. Take good care of Mrs. Roberts. Conceiving a baby is a matter that should involve both parents. I hope that Mr. Roberts can accompany Mrs. Roberts all the time during the consultations."
