My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 2104

Anne briefly explained the situation when she saw our questioning faces.

"When customers buy the flowers, the system automatically tracks the customer's data and gives them gift points for a membership gift. It will improve the public image of the mall while satisfying the customers' desire to help the needy but never had the time to. It will be easier for the little girl as well since she won't have to keep asking around to promote her flowers. We've obtained the manager's permission and came to an agreement. This will be her designated spot. There should be some substantial changes to her income as well. I hope this will help with her mother's disease."

Freya nodded with satisfaction. "That's great, but I'm more interested in how you managed to persuade the manager to agree to this?"

I was equally puzzled. Mutual benefit was the basis of any business cooperation, but for the mall itself, the revenue obtained from the charity event was merely a drop in the bucket. They didn't have to agree to that. Moreover, their partner was an adolescent. With so many uncertain factors to consider, it was clear that the risk was greater than profit. As a manager, there was no need to bring more trouble to the business.

"Well..." Casting a calm glance at us, Anne fished out her mobile phone and showed us her screen, explaining, "This is my Twitter profile. I promised to write articles reporting the shopping mail's kind deeds every month for the next six months, so they agreed to it. There are still other terms and conditions, but they're not important, so I won't mention them."

We took a closer look and instantly understood what was going on.

'Fall In Anne. Number of followers: 1,063,887'

An advertisement on an account with more than a million fans would cost around thirty thousand dollars. By agreeing to that, the mall would save up to two hundred thousand dollars on advertising, and all they had to do was set up a small corner at the entrance. Evidently, this was a great deal that the mall would be a fool not to partake in.

It would be surprising if some teenager had a million followers on Twitter, but Anne was a prodigy who was accepted in advance into universities abroad.

I was, nevertheless, astonished. "Did you create this account yourself?"

"Yes." A smile pervaded Anne's gaze as she continued, "It's the digital era. Human strength is incomparable to the power of the Internet. Initially, I created the account to gain some followers, hoping to be able to locate you, but I don't have to do it anymore, so I just use it to do charity work, which doesn't seem like a bad idea."

"Impressive, impressive." Freya clapped her hands with joy. With a sharp look, she pointed out, "The only thing is that the ID is slightly old fashioned, don't you think so? 'Fall In Anne'. People might think you're an old lady. What about changing it to FourSeason? There's a photography company I invested in. Take a couple of portraits, and with your public image haloed in prodigy, I bet your followers will double up in no time! By then, you can have someone else manage your account for you, and all you have to do is sit back, relax, and wait for the money to enter your pockets."

Anne pursed her lips and smiled. She looked down at her phone and said, "I think it's just fine. I want to remember the feeling of fall all the time."

For some reason, her smiles were mournful and it looked sad and bitter to me.

Being separated for six years, I missed out on the most important part of her growth, and it was like I could not understand what she was thinking about anymore.

Anne had been well- behaved and considerate since the moment we'd met. Right then, it seemed as if she could accomplish great things at any time in silence, which made me feel an inexplicable bad feeling rising in my gut.

Evan came in with the servants to carry our shopping bags for us, interrupting us, and no one continued the conversation.
