I couldn't bring myself to smile anymore.
Even if I called myself Anne's mother openly, it was obvious that we weren't as close as I thought we were.
I have thought of several possibilities, but I never dreamed that Andrea would take Anne away from me.
At this moment, the culprit was still showing off her phone. "Did you all hear that?"
Seeing that I didn't respond, Andrea pointed to the staff with her phone. "You heard Moanna's voice, didn't you? The boss's mother said that everything must go by the rules, but since your boss has spoken up, does anyone here have a problem with me taking charge?"
She was putting on a show. If things went according to plan, she would pick out an unfortunate staff member to establish dominance.
Andrea stood in front of the staff with a sly look on her face, scanning them one by one. She was obviously choosing the most suitable person for her purpose.
Freya saw through her plan. She ground her teeth and warned Andrea coldly, 'Anne isn't the only owner of this bar. I still have my shares. If you want to be the owner, take it up with me. Don't go making claims and lording over the staff."
"How dare you?!" Andrea gave her a sidelong glance and casually said, "You don't need to tell me what to do in my own territory. If you aren't satisfied with it, sell off your stock. You think I can't attract any investors with such a good location? You're just taking advantage of me right now. Do you think everyone else besides you are fools?"
"You think you're the owner already? You haven't even signed the transfer contract." Freya casually tossed her bag aside, stood up, and started to roll up her sleeves. "Come on! Try to kick me out of here!"
"What are you doing?" Andrea quickly hid behind her muscular men and threatened Freya by sticking out her neck. "I'm warning you, Freya. I've never liked you from the start. Come over if you dare!"
