My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 2219

Maybe it's because Freya wanted to vent and this just so happened to be the perfect outlet for her.

But we're adults, after all. We shouldn't act so recklessly.

"Forget it, Freya. You'd only bring trouble to yourself and the Moore Family if you do this!" I hugged her tighter, unwilling to let go.

Freya was tired from all the struggling. She let out a helpless sigh and gradually calmed down.

"Don't worry," she said, rolling her eyes.

"I won't let you go unless you promise not to attack her!"

Freya felt hopeless and then said impatiently, "I promise."

"Are you satisfied now?"

Only then did I loosen my grip a little, still slightly cautious.

Freya did as she said. She began to tidy up her clothes as soon as got free and didn't look at Andrea anymore. "I'll spare you this time."

Freya always did as she pleased. By saying this, she proved that I still mattered to her.

Although I couldn't laugh out loud, I forced the corners of my mouth upwards and said with a wry smile, "I know, Freya!"

Andrea had just escaped a disaster but she still didn't know how to restrain herself. She tried to stir up trouble again. "What's wrong? Are you afraid? Isn't the Moore Family the rulers of Jarold City? Aren't you the only daughter of the Moore Family? Don't you have the guts to stand up for yourself? Or do the members of your own family think so little of you, that you can only grin and bear it from your bullies?"

"I've just remembered something. Freya, you're just an illegitimate child that your parents hate. You're no better than me!"

Freya's face fell. Her eyes looked colder than before. Compared to how she was earlier, instead of annoyance, she now seemed filled with hatred.

What difference was there between annoyance and hatred?

If you didn't like someone, you could ignore or complain about that person. At most, you would teach them a lesson, but you wouldn't take that person seriously.

But if you held a grudge against them, you would want to skin your enemy alive and tear them to pieces. Andrea was the best example of this.
