Only the three of us here know exactly what Hendrix meant when he chose to go with Andrea.
The same person again. The same choice again. I couldn't be overshadowed by Andrea for the rest of my life.
Hendrix's delicate features were wrinkled. He couldn't shake my hand away, but he couldn't simply let Andrea leave either.
This scene was all too familiar. I felt a strong sense of irony to it.
He didn't dare to admit his love for me back then. When he looked at me, he was like a piece of ice that couldn't be melted. I could never catch a trace of him caring about me. But now, we've already experienced life and death together. He knew what I cared about but he still did this and stabbed me in the heart.
Andrea's arrogant expression was particularly glaring, but it also suddenly inspired me.
Hendrix had a weakness. He couldn't calm down because they had dirt on him. If I were to be bashful now, the both of us would be finished.
He taught me that when I'm in front of my opponent, I would be courting death if I exposed my own weaknesses.
As soon as I let go of Hendrix, my face turned cold. I went back to the sofa, quietly crossed my legs and pretended to ignore him.
"Leave then. The both of you."
Andrea uttered a scornful tsk', then turned to leave.
Hendrix was silent for a moment then sighed helplessly. "I assure you that we will not repeat the same mistakes as before. Our home will not be shattered."
He then slowly turned around and caught up with Andrea.
The second before they walked out of the door, I opened my mouth and imitated Hendrix's unforgiving indifference. "Hendrix, if you dare to walk out of that door, I will turn around, head up to the top floor, jump down directly and die in front of you."
