"That's right." I looked at him with a calm face. This was the only way for me to understand his real world. That way, I could think of ways to make him go to prison as soon as possible.
In terms of psychology, everyone had to build their own wall to make themselves feel safe. Once someone managed to break through the wall, they would be able to reach deeper into their lives.
But before that, the first thing was that the two people must play a role in each other's lives. It wouldn't work if they were just strangers that meant nothing to each other.
As soon as I finished speaking, Jordan was silent.
At this moment, a young voice came from outside the kitchen, "Uncle Jordan?"
Jordan and I turned toward the voice and saw Wynn standing at the stairs.
He had already changed into his own school uniform. The small western-style school uniform fitted him very well. Even though he was wearing the same cotton slippers as his sister, it did not affect his image of nobility and brightness at all. He looked like a mini version of Hendrix.
"What are you doing here?" Wynn blinked and took two more steps forward. "Is Daddy back too? Why don't I see him?"
Hearing this, Jordan smiled and answered, "No, he's not. Why? Do you not want to see me?"
Wynn's focus was actually on Hendrix. After hearing his words, the atmosphere became awkward between them. As if Wynn was tricked, he hurriedly shook his head and explained, "No, of course not."
"Alright, good." Jordan looked at him and suddenly smiled suspiciously. The next second, he began to take off his apron.
"Are you leaving?" I couldn't hide my excitement, but I didn't feel satisfied that I couldn't get the answer to that question.
Perhaps just like the day before, whenever Jordan made an important decision, he would need to think about it for a whole day before making a decision.
But after he took off the apron and put it on the counter, he did not leave. Instead, he looked up at me and suddenly asked, "Do you want to change your clothes?"
I was startled and didn't understand what he meant. "What for?"
"Didn't you say that you want to participate in my daily life?" Jordan asked.
