My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 2312

I had barely even felt the fluttering touch of his palm. Just as I regained my footing, he quickly retreated to the side.

I understood. After all, we were in public, and this was Andrea's territory. It was logical for him to draw the line.

Before I could come back to my senses, Andrea flew into another fit of rage. She pointed at me and screamed, "You again? You b*tch. Hendrix has already left you and your kids. For me, he is willing to throw away his dignity. Yet, you still want to protect him? You deserve everything that has happened to you!"

Gritting my teeth, I glared back and tried to hold my tongue. She had gone mad, and speaking more would only make things worse.

"What, you're not convinced? That's right. What else can you do to me other than glare at me? You saw what happened just now, didn't you? Hendrix, your beloved, stood beside me pathetically, not daring to say even a word in retaliation. Are you heartbroken?" She suddenly laughed, "I don't love him, but I won't let him go. As for you, you'll get what's coming to you soon."

"Have you had enough?" Hendrix suddenly asked, his voice as cold as ice.

"Hendrix! Why are you talking to me like that? Have you forgotten what you've done to me? You owe me a lifetime of hard work. What right do you have to criticize me here?" She still had no intention of putting an end to the matter and even vented her anger on the onlooking crew. "What are you all looking at? All of you get lost! You guys are just a bunch of good-for-nothings who slack on the job!"

Everyone was indignant, but no one said anything because she was a contributor to their income. With that, they left the scene.

Hendrix had no time to care about her anymore. He strode over to Andrea, grabbed her wrist, and dragged her away from the set.

"Hendrix, let me go. I said let me go. Do you hear me?"

It was not until their figures disappeared from sight that Andrea's clamor finally ended.

However, when the crowd dispersed, I glanced around and saw the expressionless Jordan outside the studio.

There was no doubt that he had witnessed everything that had happened with Hendrix.

We locked eyes. Out of guilt, I looked away.
